Many home craftsmen would like to know about how to make glued beams with your own hands. Everyone knows that this material is relatively expensive. In addition, it often happens that you need only one beam, to go for which can be simply unprofitable. Making such a beam with your own hands is not too difficult. First of all, you need to prepare the tools. You will need:

- measuring instruments (ruler and tape measure);
- grinder;
- good glue for wood;

- acetone or another solvent;
- lumber.

Do-it-yourself profiled timber is even easier to perform. You need to take an ordinary beam and give it the necessary geometric shape, using any available tools for wood processing.
