In checkers, the Petrov triangle is the best strategy. The game is usually divided into three stages - the beginning, middle and final. Here we will not consider the beginning and middle of the game, but focus on its final stage, on which the outcome of the game depends.
To begin with, we determine the moment that should be attributed to the final. It occurs when the players have about 3-5 checkers left. Of course, up to this point, the players have already got ladies, and most likely, not one at a time.
It is the presence of the ladies that easily move along the free fields of the board that significantly complicates the construction of a winning final composition. The problem is that they are difficult to catch. To systematize the actions, the purpose of which is to build a winning combination, you need to determine the task and follow the established rules. Such a strategy is called the Petrov triangle in checkers. The game is built on this idea.

The main idea of the strategy for constructing the named triangle is a special arrangement of figures. Below we will consider its principles, but for a start we will define the initial data.
This strategy is used when the player has three dames and the opponent has one. This is the case when it is very disappointing to agree to a draw, having significant superiority in strength.
For information: according to the rules of the game of checkers, a draw with this balance of power occurs after 15 moves if you fail to “catch” the lady earlier.
So, to use the strategy of Petrov’s triangle, you need to take with your three “ladies” the main paths on the checkerboard: the “big road”, the “double line” and the “tee line”. And you also need to build your three figures in the shape of a triangle, the acute angle of which is directed at the enemy. This is called standing face to face.

A strict sequence of actions should be followed. The first task necessary to build Petrov's triangle in checkers is to take the “big road” with your “lady”. Only then can we proceed to further arrangement of the figures. If you fail to take it, then there is very little chance of winning. The enemy, having settled down on the “high road”, has an advantage in the game and, if there is no mistake anywhere, then most likely the game will end in a draw.
If you managed to take the “big road”, then the next stage is the “double line”. She should be occupied by the second "lady". Here the task is much simpler than the previous one. You just need to "push" the enemy, leaving him no choice.
The task of the next stage is to hold the “big road” and the “double line”, to occupy the “tee line” as well. Here the same method of “squeezing” the enemy is applied.
Then everything is simple. Holding three directions, you need to arrange the figures in the form of a triangle and the next two moves to "kill" the enemy, sacrificing first one and then the second lady.
