Man 1/3 of his life spends in a dream. People who ignore night rest can suffer from various diseases after a while. Therefore, a person should sleep daily. Indeed, without food a person can live a month, without water for about a week, but without sleep a person will not live long.
The natural process in the body is sleep.
Why do people sleep? Because it is a natural process for the body. Without sleep, a person feels overwhelmed, irritable and tired, attention and reaction speed become dull. Sometimes this is important, for example, when driving a car or working on a machine.
On the third day without sleep, people can attend hallucinations.
Why do people sleep at night
It is at night in our body that restoration processes occur. A sleeping person in a certain period of time replenishes energy. While we sleep at night, the following happens in the body:
22 hours - the level of leukocytes rises, the body temperature gradually decreases and the body asks for sleep.
23 hours - all muscles relax, but recovery processes trigger their mechanism.
At one in the morning, a sleeping person experiences a period of sensitive sleep. It is during this period that an untreated injury or tooth can make itself felt.
At 2 hours, all body systems rest. Only our liver works, which cleanses the body of toxins.
At 3 o’clock the body is fast asleep. There is a complete lull: lowering blood pressure, body temperature, breathing and pulse are reduced.
At 4 o'clock there is an exacerbation of hearing, and a sleeping person can wake up at any moment.
At 5 hours, the metabolism slows down. But the body of a sleeping person is already ready to wake up.
At 6 o’clock, the heartbeat increases, blood pressure rises. The adrenal glands begin to throw noradrenaline and adrenaline into the bloodstream.
At 7 o'clock there is a complete recovery of the body. The immune system begins to work at full strength.

In order for the body to fully recover, and the person felt alert, you need to sleep at least 7-8 hours a day.

2. Hypersomnia. This is pathological drowsiness, which can be due to various factors. For example, medication, respiratory distress, or illness.
3. Parasomnia. This type of sleep disturbance includes well-known sleepwalking, nocturnal enuresis, epileptic seizures or nightly fears.
4. Violation of the alternation of sleep. This happens to people whose daily routine is constantly impaired. For example, when working in shifts. Over time, this can lead to persistent sleep disturbances.
