"Movement is life!" - famous expression. Indeed, without movement, our body gradually “becomes stiff”, we are aging faster, getting sick more. If you want to be young and healthy, you definitely need to go in for sports! For example, run in the morning.
Did you know that running belongs to the category of cycling sports?
What disciplines relate to such sports, what benefits do such exercises bring to the body? We will consider these and other questions in this article.
What is cyclic sports?
These are sports disciplines in which the repetition of movements in a cycle occurs, when the end of one cycle is the beginning of another. In other words, continuous movements aimed at moving the athlete in space. Moreover, most often the success criterion is the speed with which a person overcomes the distance. Cyclic sports include running, swimming, cycling, and so on. That is, all disciplines where the repetition of one movement in a cycle occurs. Recall that the movements are continuous. It is worth noting that running and jumping are cyclical sports, but football is not.
The principles of the work of our muscles are based on two mechanisms for replenishing the energy balance: anaerobic, which gives muscles strength, and aerobic, which determines their endurance. In this regard, there are two areas in cyclic sports: for anaerobic exercise - sprinting, and for aerobic exercise - styer.
This is not to say that aerobic mechanisms are not involved at all in a specific sprinting sport, and anaerobic ones in a styer sport. This division is rather conditional. Nevertheless, the athlete’s training plan and its nutrition depend on the direction in which this or that type of cyclic sport belongs.
Cycling sports: what is their use for organismism?
It is worth mentioning that the main functional system in these sports is cardiorespiratory, in other words, cardiovascular and respiratory.
According to a study conducted by scientists from the University of South Carolina, even if your parents had hypertension, you can significantly reduce the risk of developing this disease in your home. All you have to do is train your cardiorespiratory system. And for this it is necessary to systematically engage in sports or physical education. Cycling sports are perfect for this.
Run
I want to immediately make a reservation about the usefulness of running. In fact, any physical activity, and especially running, can cause harm. Every year, people die because of this sport, mainly due to problems with their heart and blood vessels. Therefore, in no case do you need to "force yourself" by running or any other physical activity. In everything it is important to maintain balance. Nevertheless, running, like any other sport, can be very useful for the body. The main thing is to gradually train your cardiovascular system, to prepare it for more and more intense loads.
It is also worth noting that running uphill, for example, is much more useful than in a straight line. Since in the first case there is no shock load on the muscles and spine, as well as the body experiences stress, which contributes to the release of hormones, which is considered very useful.
Features
Everyone believes that running is natural for a person, and he does not need to learn. But this is not so! Running is not natural to humans. It is in the nature of dogs, cats and other four-legged animals: try to catch them! Does not work? That's it! Therefore, running, like other sports, must be trained. In addition, the body must be prepared for such an activity. Before you start intense running, it is better to start with walking. That is, let the heart and blood vessels enter the tone so that the breath adjusts to the load. And only after that you can start more intensive movements.
Of course, you should not focus on only one sport, there are other, no less useful disciplines. Nevertheless, running, due to its availability, is one of the most commonly used types of physical activity.
Conclusion
Summing up, we can say that cyclic sports are primarily useful for our health and, of course, interesting. Exercise and stay healthy!
