Any table consists of several parts: the base and countertops. In this case, we use three wooden frames fastened with hinges as the basis. You should choose the dimensions of the desktop and each element of the design yourself, focusing on the available free space and your needs.
Before you make a workbench with your own hands, you must separately assemble each structural element. We need two small side frames, one cross frame and a worktop. We start making the table with small elements.
Each frame consists of two longitudinal and two transverse boards, connected to each other end-to-end with the help of corrugated keys. The joints are reinforced with plywood overlays planted on wood glue and screwed in several places to the screws. The length of the middle frame in most cases exceeds one and a half meters. Therefore, it must be strengthened with two struts. The crossbar is placed strictly perpendicular to the side frames and fastened to metal loops using self-tapping screws. The finished base structure should be easy to fold.
Now we are engaged in the manufacture of countertops. We need two sheets of plywood 12 mm thick, which we glue together. It is also necessary to prepare a bar, from which we will make a frame for the countertop. With its help, the working surface will tightly fix the base structure and will make it possible to assemble or disassemble the workbench with your own hands if necessary. To find out the exact dimensions of the countertops, you need to measure the length and width of the finished base, and then add the width of the bars to each side. We cut out the working surface of the table and make a fringing from a bar on its lower surface.
After all the elements are made, we can assemble the workbench with our own hands. For this, we lay out and install the base. Having placed the countertop with the bars down, we push it on, well fixing the structure from the frames. Now we fasten the clamps in the right place and master with pleasure.

In the surface of the shelf we drill several holes of the required diameter for screwdrivers, placing them along the rounded edge. We draw lines on the wall, marking the location of the shelf. We fasten the bars to the wall. Evenly distribute them along the entire length and width of the shelf. We lay the plywood blank on top of the prepared substrates, pressing it tightly against the walls. We fasten the shelf to the bars with the help of long screws. Insert screwdrivers into pre-made holes. We set jars with nails and screws on a shelf, placing them along the wall.
