A person’s lifestyle and health are two interconnected structures that he can manage to a large extent. This is a kind of indicator of how he correctly and skillfully uses natural resources in order to live a bright, full of energy and health life. At the heart of this is the worldview of a person, his attitude to himself, to nature, to people around him.
However, health is affected not only by him, but also by various other factors that may be controlled by him, but may not be. Among such factors, heredity (genetic information transmitted from parents), the natural environment, the industrial environment, social community, the person’s lifestyle and the work of health authorities should be noted. Human health depends on all these indicators as a whole to one degree or another. For him, these indicators are divided into two broad categories: active and passive. A person can manage active indicators by himself and himself can improve their effect on his body, and he can only limit passive factors, but cannot be completely eliminated.
The main components of a healthy lifestyle have been developed by valeologists for a long time. In truth, for today there is no unambiguous interpretation of the concept of “healthy lifestyle and its components”, but there are quite a lot of interpretations. Despite these disagreements, it was still possible to develop components that without any doubt can be attributed to the healthy lifestyle, because the main goal (all researchers aspired to it) is to provide various aspects of a person’s life, in which he will perform as long as possible and perform as efficiently as possible their social functions. And this becomes possible only on condition that his body is healthy.
Healthy lifestyle and its components:
- work culture ;
- proper and proper nutrition;
- correctly set work and rest regimen ;
- sufficient presence in the fresh air, exercise, strengthening immunity;
- compliance with sanitation and hygiene;
- sufficient motor activity;
- lack of bad habits;
- environmental literacy;
- stress resistance, positive perception of the world;
- culture of sexuality.
The aforementioned components are rarely when fully enter the life of a modern person. From the beginning of the last century, a healthy lifestyle and its components were not perceived correctly at all, were considered a kind of limitation. Only from the time of laying the foundations of Soviet health care did enlightenment appear, active propaganda of physical culture and sports, healthy nutrition began, clubs and sports grounds were built everywhere .
According to the charter of the World Health Organization, human health is the highest good of society. Nevertheless, a healthy lifestyle and its components are completely forgotten by young people. Everywhere drink alcohol, eat fast food. This affects health very much - the percentage of women of childbearing age who cannot become pregnant is growing, more and more children are born with congenital allergies, and chronic diseases are constantly getting younger. And this is not to mention the fact that every person, in fact, is constantly under the threat of diseases such as AIDS, cancer, tuberculosis.
A healthy lifestyle and its components were collected in a table, the results of which are of significant interest. So, it was found that in about twenty percent of cases, the genetic component affects human health, twenty-five percent is the external environment, five percent is the work of the health authorities, and about sixty percent are lifestyle and working and living conditions.
