The most popular tool for nail extension today is biogel. This miracle remedy allows you to "grow" nails in a matter of minutes, which means to make a beautiful manicure. Nails look natural, they are flexible, smooth, neat.
Biogel to strengthen nails has replaced artificial nails, because it has a lot of advantages over them. It allows the nails to breathe (does not block access to oxygen, unlike synthetic artificial nails), does not harm the structure when applied (does not scratch, does not injure the nail), and nourishes with useful substances, as it consists of natural material ( Teak resin from Asian countries).
And despite all the pluses, many still prefer false nails, nail care products available in the pharmacy, since the procedure of nail extension in the salon using biogel is an expensive pleasure (instead of 400 rubles for manicure - from 1000 rubles for applying the gel and more 300 rubles for its removal).
Over time, it became possible to use biogel for nails at home. As it turned out, it’s not so difficult, if only you have a lamp that emits ultraviolet rays. You will also need to purchase biogel in a specialized salon or online store, a couple of nail nutrients in a pharmacy and go. There is no lamp, you can still carry out the procedure if you order a whole set for strengthening nails with biogel in the online store.
How to apply biogel for nails at home?
A thin layer is formed from the gel, moreover, it can be colored and look like varnish. The layer is easy to apply on the nail, without unnecessary action with it (unlike other methods of building). Subsequently, this layer protects your fragile nails from external influences, allowing them to grow. This is how your own nails build up due to the natural properties of the gel.
- Grind each nail lightly.
- We apply vitamin fluid (it can be purchased at the pharmacy).
- A small disinfection with talcum powder, then it must be blown off.
- Finally, we apply biogel.
- We are waiting for it to harden, sitting under the lamp.
For three weeks after that you go through with the resulting manicure.
If you purchased a kit, the instructions will be attached to it and may be slightly different from the described procedure (other means for food, a different sequence), but not dramatically.
But one problem remained for enterprising fashionistas: it’s possible to apply biogel for nails at home, but how can you remove it yourself later?
How to remove biogel at home?
You can easily dissolve the extended nail with a special tool, without harm to the tissues of the finger and nail. Only this solution still needs to be found where to buy. If you do not plan to use biogel for nails at home anymore, go to the salon, remove it there, it will be cheaper.
In an emergency (when neither a solution nor a master is available): remove the bio gel with warm water, even hot. Hold your hands in water, the gel will soften and you can remove the softened layer with your hands. True, there is no guarantee that it can be easily removed. Another master advises, again in extreme cases, apply nail polish remover to the cotton wool, apply to the nail, wrap the nail in foil for 5 minutes, hold your hands above the light bulb (you need heat), then the gel can be removed from the nails. Hands will be difficult, better with a stick for nails (orange). But remember, in this way you can do more harm than the benefits of using biogel!
