Everyone knows that the birthplace of tea is China. Therefore, it would be logical to assume that the fortune-telling on tea was invented by the Chinese. However, it is not. The original way of divination on tea leaves, called taseografiya, was invented by the British. This good old tradition is still preserved in English-speaking countries.
Why, then, did fortune-telling on tea leaves arise in England? Apparently, this was somehow connected with the method of brewing this drink, which in China, for example, was customary to drink from small cups without handles, and in Europe, on the contrary, from large ones. And the Europeans poured tea leaves right into the cups. It is now steamed in special teapots or bags. With this method of brewing tea leaves fortunetelling does not work.
Fortune-telling on tea is exactly the same as on coffee grounds, interpreting figures and patterns remaining on the bottom and walls of the cup. Presumably, both types of fortune-telling arose simultaneously. And it happened at the end of the eighteenth century, when tea and coffee became available not only to aristocrats, but also to ordinary people. But for the reason that with any method of brewing coffee, sediment always remained at the bottom of the mug, divination by coffee became more popular than divination by tea.
This popular fortune-telling drink is brewed in two ways: it can be a mug or a teapot with a wide spout, through which the brewing passes without difficulty. It doesnβt matter what kind of tea is taken for fortune telling, it is important that it be coarsely ground, and not fine from bags, since then it will be bad to settle on the walls. Sugar does not affect fortune-telling, and lemon can interfere.
Any cups are suitable for divination. The main thing is that they are not transparent and with handles. You do not need to drink tea until the end. And here it is important to observe the ratio of thick and liquid. If there is too much water, the tea leaves will spill out on the saucer, and if not enough, they will stick together in a lump. Fortune telling on tea has its own rules. First, you need to make three rotational movements with your left hand and distribute the tea mugs on the walls. After that they conceive a question and several times repeating it to themselves, turn the cup from themselves. You can guess at another person. In this case, he should make a question and turn the cup over. Turning the mug upside down, let it stand for ten minutes, and then open it, holding the handle up and read the pattern.
Tea fortune telling has the same rules as fortune telling on coffee grounds.
Of the cups intended for fortune telling, this drink just cannot be drunk anymore. Therefore, they need to be somehow different from others, for example, have a noticeable color or picture.
To know the future, you need to read the pattern, moving from the pen to the right, and moving counterclockwise - you can find out the past. A cup can tell about events that occur or will occur with the person himself. Other people may be indicated by gulls located on the edge itself. All negative is at the bottom. If there are few figures in the cup, then this means that the person is doing well. The presence of a dense, dense picture suggests that a person has a lot of any concerns, problems.
Fortune telling on tea should begin with the interpretation of the simplest figures - sticks and dots. Dots mean money. That is, the more points are visible - the more money will be. If the point is one or is on the side, then it indicates some kind of news or letter. A wand denotes a case, many sticks mean, respectively, many different deeds. If the stick is turned from the handle to the edge of the mug, the business will be successful; to the bottom, the business will end in failure. Tea leaves can form letters, numbers and other signs, such as planets. In this case, they are interpreted according to their meaning. The figures of animals indicate time, that is, they are interpreted in the sense of the signs of the zodiac, for example, the year of the Dragon or, for example, the year of the Monkey.
Noble plants and animals mean love, health, friendship, and other auspicious things or events. In general, fortune-telling on tea leaves, you need to trust your intuition.
