Koreans at all times were distinguished by unusual natural modesty. And there’s no need to even talk about licentiousness - in South Korea, which is subject to the corrupting influence of the West, even nowadays girls sometimes bathe in jeans or a dress, hesitate to undress to a swimsuit, and in the heat they go in several T-shirts so as not to show what is under them is.
But this does not mean that they have no sex there. On the island of Jeju is the famous Park of love. In Korea, a country rather conservative, the theme of love and sex has always been considered a kind of taboo. No wonder there are still frequent marriages concluded under a parental agreement.
Conducting a honeymoon on Jeju Island has long been a tradition for Koreans. As you know, the foundations of society, including moral, are constantly changing. It was in order to inform the newlyweds, prepare them for married life, and special cultural compositions were created.
The Love Park in Korea was opened relatively recently, in November 2004, and is perhaps the most original architectural ensemble in the world, which has a pronounced erotic orientation. The basis of the composition is one hundred and forty sculptures that embody love and sexuality in all their manifestations.
The sculptures erected in a park called Love Land, or Jeju Loveland, were created by graduates of the University of Seoul Honkik two years before the official opening.
On the territory of the park, visitors (and only persons over eighteen years of age are allowed here) are offered to watch clips of erotic themes, as well as small educational films. There are also many souvenir tents in which you can buy all kinds of products, reminiscent of the fact that its owners once visited this unusual love park in Korea. The photo on the background of sculptures of people having sex in all kinds of poses considers any incoming tourist to do it.

Love Park in Korea is not only sculptures. Located in a mild tropical climate, the local landscapes, striking in their lush vegetation, have become excellent natural scenery that perfectly complement the entire architectural ensemble. There are a lot of tangerine trees on Jeju , because the local people call it nothing more than a “tangerine island”, and orchids and other exotic plants grow in the local greenhouse with unusual beauty. But the best time to visit the love park in Korea is, of course, spring, when almost the entire island is covered with a magical fragrant carpet, consisting of bright southern flowers. In summer you can snorkel, swim or sunbathe on the clean pebble beaches. It is not in vain that the unique local nature is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is under its protection.

You can relate to this place in different ways, but despite the fact that many people consider the South Korea’s love park the most indecent in the world, thousands of tourists from all over the world come here every year.
