The depth is increased compared to the swing solution, but you should take an allowance for the sliding system and space for hangers.
Workpiece Size
Do-it-yourself wardrobe is quite simple, if you follow the technology. Once the thickness of the material has been selected, you can think about acquiring additional elements. Among them, a melamine self-adhesive edge, the thickness of which is 0.5 mm.
But when cutting blanks, two sidewalls should be cut, the size of each of which will be 2433 x 650 mm. The lid, located on top, will be one, and its dimensions are 2400 x 650 mm. The bottom size will be 2367 x 650 mm. You will need a base - 2 pieces: 2367 x 100 mm.
Cut out two partitions with dimensions of 1917 x 550 mm. The top shelf will have the following dimensions: 2367 x 550 mm. The internal filling will consist of shelves, the size of each of them will be 778 x 550 mm. You will need three sides of the base box: 550 x 100 mm. The edges of the box are needed in the amount of two pieces, their sizes are 1159 x 100 mm.
When making a wardrobe with your own hands, you will use hardboard. However, you won’t find it entirely, and it simply won’t fit into the opening, so you should use 3 parts. The space between the shelf and the top cover will cover a horizontal sheet with the following dimensions: 2395 x 410 mm. A vertical leaf with the following dimensions should be placed on one leaf: 1940 x 800 mm. Two leaves will need a vertical sheet with dimensions of 1940 x 1595 mm.

The glue should set, and then the hot edge is pressed and smoothed with a dry cloth so that its edges are properly glued. Excess material is removed with a blunt knife so as not to damage the laminate. Sloppy edges can be processed with fine-grained sandpaper.
Before starting work, the drawings of the wardrobe with your own hands need to be done in advance. However, you can borrow them from the article. For the bottom is going to base, which will consist of parts of the base. There is no need to glue them. Some home masters claim that the base is not needed. Assembly

Holes of 5 mm are made at the ends, while it is necessary to go deeper by 60 mm. The openings for the under-shelves must be made at once on several levels, so that you have the opportunity to rearrange the shelves in height without drilling holes.
