Eleaf's new iJust 2 e-cigarette is simple in design, yet efficient and designed for a wide range of vapers. A large liquid tank, decent autonomy, high power, an air supply control system is installed. There are two types of replaceable evaporators in the kit. The set corresponds to modern ideas about a high-quality device and has a reasonable price.
Constructive
The familiar cylindrical shape of the iJust 2 electronic cigarette case is made mostly of stainless steel. The assembled device kit has a height of 168 mm and a diameter of only 22 mm. Eleaf iJust 2 can undoubtedly boast a powerful filling, but it does not look bulky compared to models of the same class: the special compact microcircuit used by the manufacturer in this product made it possible to drastically reduce the length.
Battery
The iJust 2 battery pack has a built-in 2600 mAh battery. It is always enough for daily active use, without the need for recharging during the day. The connector of the battery pack is standard, it is suitable for operation with resistance values from 0.15 Ohm. In the upper area there is a button for closing the circuit, which is highlighted with an LED indicator. The second is installed in the area of the micro-connector for recharging. Three hours are enough for a full charge. It should be noted that the battery pack device has acquired all the necessary protective functionality:
- termination of the energy recharge process after a full charge of the battery;
- short circuit protection;
- an additional function is the pastra, thanks to which it becomes possible to combine vaping simultaneously with charging.
Clearomizer Features
The iJust 2 standard kit contains a clearomizer with an integrated tank that is designed for a maximum amount of liquid up to 5.5 ml - this is a very high capacity indicator. A good suggestion for steam workers who cannot or do not like to spend extra time refueling the tank. The transparent tank body is made of tempered glass, this makes it easy to control the level of filling and significantly increases the service life of the clearomizer. At the base there are radiator fins, which allows you to fight overheating. At the bottom of the clearomizer, airflow force adjustment is set, for this the housing has four feed openings. The size of the airflow in iJust 2 is changed by rotating an additional silicone ring, which has oblong holes. Such a system looks, maybe too simple, unreliable, but it works without problems.
How to fill the fluid?
The native clearomizer in iJust 2 is equipped with a lower liquid filling system. For refueling, it is necessary to turn the cigarette down with the drip tip, then unscrew the top of the clearomizer with the tank from its base. Gradually pour liquid into the tank, controlling the process so as to prevent ingress of batch into the hole of the central duct. Now you need to reassemble the structure without changing its original inverted position.
Replaceable evaporators
The manufacturer provides for the presence of two different own replaceable evaporators in the delivery set with the iJust 2 electronic cigarette. The first has a resistance of 0.3 Ohm, withstands power ranging from 30 to 80 W, it has two vertical spirals, and the absorbent element is made of organic cotton; the second, with a resistance of 0.5 Ohm, is designed for soaring at a power of 30 to 100 W. In fact, everything is very simple. The vaporizer with less resistance is chosen by those steam workers who want to reduce the flow of liquid and do not mind sacrificing the richness of taste and the density of steam. Soaring with greater resistance will give fans a bright aroma and saturated steam. The Eleaf iJust 2 device does not have a voltage regulator, which makes it possible to soar in a wide range of capacities. And therefore, with a decrease in the charge level in the battery, the power supplied to the evaporator will decrease.
It is possible to separately purchase a replacement evaporator for 0.15 Ohm or
Melo, also served by the Eleaf ECR Head or RBA Atlantis and Atlantis 2 base. Rewinding of the iJust 2 evaporator is also possible for the maintenance-free models that come with the kit, but this is a bit more complicated.
Instruments
Rewinding an iJust 2 evaporator will require this set of tools for all types of evaporators:
- ceramic or metal tweezers for careful disassembly of the evaporator and fluffing of cotton;
- a wire of the desired diameter of a particular metal depends on preliminary calculations and your preferences;
- professional tools for winding spirals or improvised tools of the desired diameter;
- special wire cutters;
- organic cotton sheet and scissors.
Native Service
The question may arise about why you need to rewind the native evaporator to iJust 2, it's not a service. Experienced steam workers usually do this for several reasons:
- in order to save money on the purchase of new non-service, after all, evaporators have to be replaced with new ones after 3-5 weeks of use, and only cotton wool and the spiral deteriorate in them;
- I really want to get confused, because the process of creating something complex with your own hands and the very result of the work bring pleasure.
The desire to rewind the iJust 2 evaporator on a maintenance-free replacement model usually arises among experienced vapers, because they know how to achieve maximum pleasure from soaring using proper winding. And sometimes beginners come to this in order to gain experience and thoroughly study the device of their device.
Despite the fact that, theoretically, the evaporator is replaceable, the diameter of its body and the size of the central contact make it easy to replace the coil and cotton wool even to an inexperienced steam cleaner.
The diameter of the spiral in the evaporator is 4 millimeters, which means that it can be wound on a spoke or an hour screwdriver. The finished winding is wrapped with a piece of cotton, and the upper wire of the spiral bends down, holding the cotton. Having installed it in the evaporator body, it is necessary to make sure that the upper end of the wire (which is the external contact) is outside the insulator and touches the evaporator body; and the bottom (which is the inner contact) touched the central contact and was limited to the inside of the insulator.
Initially, disassembling the native evaporator, it is necessary to leave the upper mesh in place or install in place if it fell out.
Conclusion: the iJust 2 native evaporators are the easiest to rewind, only special RBA bases are easier.
Rewind the iJust 2 vaporizer horizontally
Some sweaters, having practiced the rewinding of one-time native vaporizers, come to the conclusion that this happens easier and more efficiently horizontally. To rewind the iJust 2 evaporator, wind the spiral for a maximum of 6 turns, otherwise it will not fit.
Rewind Serviced iJust 2 - ECR
The maintenance ECR evaporator has both horizontal and vertical spiral orientation. This model provides a fully collapsible design, which consists of a top cover, housing, insulator and brass pin. So, without difficulty it is possible to independently upgrade organic cotton wool, and if necessary, replace the installed spiral with a new one. For maximum simplicity of the winding process, a screwless design is provided. Upon purchase, a horizontal cantal spiral with a resistance of 1.0 Ohms with cotton wool is already installed in the database.
