In what cases is an aviary required? First of all, of course, if the dog is too large to be kept at home. The construction is also useful if outsiders, such as guests, are often in the house or on the site, or repairs are being made. And finally, if a small or medium dog is kept in the house, then in order for him to stay on the street, warm up a bit without your direct control, an aviary for a dog is also useful. How to make a do-it-yourself aviary for a dog : drawings and preparation
Before you engage in the search, selection, purchase of material, consumables and tools, you need to decide on important things. It is necessary to find the optimal place for the location of the aviary. Take into account the configuration of the site, the nature of the soil on it.

Having decided on all of the above items, you can begin to create drawings. A standard enclosure is made rectangular, however, as already mentioned, you need to consider the shape of your site. Now a little about the size. They are calculated based on the number of dogs, their growth. An animal with a height of up to 50 cm needs an area of at least six m 2 , if a dog with a height of 50 to 65 cm is at least eight m 2 , a dog more than 65 cm in height needs to be built at least ten m 2 .
If you have a bitch that has puppies, or more than one adult dog, the area increases one and a half times. So, for example, an aviary for a German shepherd will have an area of at least 8 m
