Secret and Latte Recipe

There are innumerable varieties of coffee in the world, but for the rest of our lives we mainly deal with a limited number of them - classic black, espresso and cappuccino. And only rare lucky ones have the opportunity to try a delicious and original coffee brand called latte, which means “milk”. There is nothing better for a full breakfast with such a drink - but not everyone knows how to create it, because the recipe for making latte includes some subtleties, due to which the unique and refined taste of this sort of coffee is manifested .

Espresso acts as one of the ingredients in latte coffee, which is supplemented with milk (in three to one proportions) with a little foam, and then sprinkled with delicious crumbs of chocolate and spice cinnamon. The preparation of latte in some cases involves the addition of a variety of ingredients that the cook likes - syrups (caramel, chocolate, vanilla or berry) and their mixtures, nuts and ice cream, whipped cream and some aromatic alcoholic drinks (rum and amaretto).

In general, we can say that the latte is distinguished from other varieties of coffee by its composition - exactly the proportions of milk, coffee and whipped milk foam, combined with some additives, are precisely observed. It is the last element that brings variety to the drink, making it more sweet, spicy, bitter or tart. Sugar is rarely served with such a drink, but if someone prefers to drink latte just like that, then you can add sugar in a piece - but only before immediate use.

If you think you know exactly how to make latte correctly, then you most likely have not been to Italy, where they know how to create this drink in a thousand combinations, changing only some additives and their proportions. For example, a wonderful coffee called “latte macchiato” (“milk with stain”), made from one part of espresso and three parts of whipped hot milk, which are poured into a special transparent tall glass in layers: milk-coffee-froth from whipped milk. It is on such a drink that the masters of the so-called latte art practice - drawings on the upper layer of latte, creating incredibly beautiful patterns on the foam.

Even if you are not an ardent fan of coffee of any sort, believe me - this drink is worth a try. And those who can be called a real coffee lover will appreciate this variety, especially if they use the original recipe for making latte and create it with their own hands, up to the drawings on the surface of milk froth.

For example, you can try such a treat - freshly brewed espresso (100 ml.) Plus not too fat milk (100 ml.) Plus sugar (4 tablespoons). As an aromatic additive, you can take a little ground cinnamon, thanks to which the finished product will gain a piquant taste and aroma. It is best to beat the milk in hot form with a mixer (at least half a minute), after which pour most of it into pre-warmed mugs, carefully add strong espresso, and put the rest of the milk froth on top. Sprinkle with cinnamon, wait until it “melts” a little, and begin to draw pictorial patterns on it. The main trick to keep in mind when choosing this recipe for making latte lies in the fact that you need to pour espresso into the mug a little on the wall, preventing it from premature mixing with milk.

Another variation of this wonderful drink is latte with chocolate syrup. Ingredients for it: syrup (30 gr.), Espresso (60 gr.), Milk (45 gr.). Chocolate syrup is poured into a coffee cup first, after which freshly brewed coffee is sent there, and then milk is whipped in foam. This recipe for making latte does not require ceremonies, as it involves intensive mixing of all products, so that the syrup is mixed with coffee, after which it can be decorated with chocolate chips.
