But after all, the motorist also needs to have a place in which he can store tires, consumables and other attributes. It's no secret that storing a car in the open is to expose it to sunlight, rain (sometimes even acid).
And if you have your own land and your own car, then without a garage you’re just nowhere. And the easiest way, it turns out, is to build a garage from a sandwich panel with your own hands. This is a universal material, and most importantly - very durable, warm, relatively inexpensive. In the article you will learn about how the construction of garages is made of such materials.
A bit about metal garages
Most often, metal garages are built. Remember at least the popular “shells”. The cost of such a structure is minimal, and to increase the service life you only need to paint the entire garage with high-quality paint. But such buildings have obvious flaws - it’s very cold. Metal does not retain heat, but heat holds great. As a result, in the winter in the garage it is insanely cold, and in the summer it is all, like a large frying pan.

But if you approach the project wisely, correctly insulate the walls, ceiling and floor, then this will be a garage that will last for more than a dozen years. And there can be many reasons for this: unsuitable soil, close location of water, the presence of utilities in the immediate vicinity.

As for such designs, they are completely devoid of all the above disadvantages. The panel is made like a multi-layer cake, with metal sheets on the inside and outside. As insulation, polyurethane, pressed mineral wool or polystyrene foam is used.
It is worth noting that the inner metal sheet is usually flat. So it is much easier to mount on the frame. The outer part is embossed, apparently for greater attractiveness. Please note that roofing differs from wall roofing in that they have a special influx and the relief is larger. On sale there are panels, the outer layer of which is made of composite or wood-based material.

Preparing the foundation

After that, be sure to fill up the sand cushion - 10 cm is enough. You will also ram it and water it to make it stronger. Then lay the crushed stone - 10 cm layer is also enough. Using these two layers, it will be possible to compensate for the movement of the soil during wetting or freezing. Therefore, remove a large load from the stove.

Further foundation construction
After the sand and gravel layer is ready, you can proceed to the installation of formwork. It is necessary that it is about 20 cm above the surface of the earth. In this case, you can make a foundation that will not allow melt water to enter the building. After mounting the formwork, put the mesh from the reinforcement. It is necessary to use rods with a thickness of 8-10 mm.

If they are highly located, then the probability of undermining the foundation is very high. Installation of panels should be carried out only on a pre-prepared frame. It can be made of metal or wood. If you decide to build a wooden frame, you need to use a beam with a section of 100 x 100 mm and more. It all depends on what area of the building. To fasten the bars with each other, you need to use corners made of galvanized steel, and wood screws.
Features of the construction of a metal frame
In this case, it is allowed to use metal pipes, angles, etc. It is allowed to use various materials. Connections are made using electric arc welding. And if you want to make a collapsible design, then you can make fasteners with the help of bolts.
Frame construction
The first step, no matter what material is used, is to install a mortgage profile (bolt) directly on the foundation. With this, the construction of a garage from a sandwich panel with your own hands begins. It is placed 15 cm from the edge of the monolithic plate and is attached with dowels.
