Alize Korne - one of the best tennis players

Alize Korne was born on January 22, 1990 and from an early age established herself as a tennis player with a good future. Initially, she and her brother dreamed of becoming a biologist, but fate decreed otherwise, and Alize went to tennis, where in the following years she achieved great results.

Youth

The dawn of her career began at the age of 16, when at the Grand Slam tournament she was able to reach the finals, and then give a series of major victories, beating even the leaders of major tournaments. In July of the same year, Alize Korne won her first trophy when, together with Julia Fedosova, they were able to take the European Championship Cup.

In 2007, the Frenchwoman Alize Cornet had two attempts to win the coveted Grand Slam tournament, but both times, unfortunately, were unsuccessful. After that, she won several more junior tournaments and completely completed her career in this age category.

Adult career

Since 2004, the French Tennis Federation has gradually included it in adult tournaments, entrusting it with even the most important matches, such as, for example, the Grand Slam home competitions. Participating both at the junior and adult levels, Korn by the end of the year was able to climb the list of 400 best tennis players in the world.

In 2006, tennis player Alize Cornet began to rise sharply in the ranking, thanks to victories at the Australian Open and Roland Garros. A wonderful and outstanding game allowed the athlete at the age of 16 to enter the top 200 of the world ranking. In 2007, on a wave of courage, Kornet continues to amaze everyone with his victories and soon makes his way to the base of the Grand Slam, knocking out one of the best tennis players in the world, Katerina Bondarenko, in the first round. In the summer of the same year, the French woman tried herself in one of the largest tournaments in the world, when she managed to reach the finals at the adult Wimbledon.

By the end of the year, Alize participated in several more tournaments under the auspices of ITF, in each of which she managed to reach at least the quarter-finals. Thanks to these victories, Cornet confidently entrenched in the list of one hundred of the best tennis shirts of the world championship.

The root of the game

Major tournaments

In 2008, Alize Cornet's career reached unprecedented success. The starting point for this result was reaching the Grand Slam finals, when the Frenchwoman lost to Elena Yankovich in a bitter struggle. By the way, even this defeat helped to take her place in the list of 30 best tennis players.

Alize Korne was able to go through two rounds at her debut Olympics in Beijing, but fell under the racket of the world's best tennis player at that time - Serena Williams. After a decent departure from the Olympics, Alize began to prepare for two important competitions of the year - the US Open and the Grand Slam. Despite the excellent preparation, the Frenchwoman again literally did not have the step to win the coveted trophy.

Career decline

Unfortunately, the defeats at the end of 2008 were only the beginning of the end. Alize Cornet began to pursue bad luck, when even with the most perfect game she had to leave the court as a loser. In February 2009, she played in the Confederations Cup for the French national team, losing two important matches, which were decisive for the French.

During the season, a series of disappointing losses followed at world tournaments, where Alize Cornet was not even considered a favorite. As a result, the French rating by the end of the season had fallen nowhere else, and she was in 50th place.

Reboot

In 2010, a series of defeats continued. Alize Korne first appeared in 60th place, and then in all at the end of the 100 best rackets in the world. After a series of defeats, Alize decided to change something in her career. To begin with, she began to perform in pairs and it was in duets that some results began to come to her. After that, she tried it alone, and the results were not long in coming - in 2011 she played in several semifinals, which alternated with equally worthy results. These results allowed her at one point to become even the seventh in the list of world rankings.

The beginning of 2012 was not carried out in the best way, but a little later Alize Kornet nevertheless returned to the peak of her former glory and less and less left the site with defeats. After tremendous success, she managed to leave the fifth dozen of the rating and get to the Olympics in London. Victories under the auspices of the WTA allowed Korne to gain a solid place among the thirty best tennis players.

2013 passed without bright victories and performances at tournaments alternated with disappointing defeats in the very initial stages of the competition. Alize Korne managed to get a stable form by the beginning of summer, when in Miami she was able to enter the fourth round of one of the major tournaments and allowed her team to retain a place in the national championship elite.

The end of the season was one of the most successful in recent years - three exits to the third round of the Grand Slam and the semifinal at the tournament in Washington allowed the Frenchwoman to finish the championship in 25th place for the first time in her career.

Cornet with a racket

In 2014, Cornet was able to get the first major victory with the national team - the Hopman Cup, in which all opponents were defeated. Personal tournaments were also a great success, and the French were able to reach the semi-finals of the tournament in Paris and the finals in Dubai.

By the middle of the year, Alize Korne noticeably slowed down the results, but by the end of the year she regularly began to win all the matches in which she participated. In one of the seasons, the athlete received unprecedented fame, but with not quite athletic results. A photo of Alize Korne spread all over the Internet when in one of the matches right on the court she decided to change her T-shirt.

Career at the moment

All the other seasons of Alize were not unusual. Major victories were followed by a series of failures, and this continues to this day. All local victories did not allow her to retreat below 50th place. And at the moment, thanks to major victories, the athlete feels comfortable in the list of thirty best racquets in the world and tries to delight her fans with victories at major tournaments.
