Camouflage network: different ways to make it yourself

In certain situations, people become interested in a camouflage network. The thing is multifunctional, but many are confused by its price: per square meter, specialized stores ask from 230 to 745 rubles. depending on the quality of the base, the weaving technique and the material put on the camouflage itself. If you need a not too big piece, then you can be generous. But, if an extensive banner is required, money becomes a pity, and the idea to build a disguise on your own looks all the more attractive.

Who can come in handy? First of all, the army camouflage network in all its variations is needed by hunters and fishers. They use it both for hiding, and for masking boats, cars, and, if necessary, tents (if they are modern bright colors). But this is not the only household purpose of camouflage. It is used as tents for a country car park or recreation area, decoration of arbors and fences in suburban areas. And recently, the camouflage network has become very popular as a design element in clubs and discos. Yes, and outdoor cafes do not disdain this design.

Natural mesh

Hunters are well aware that different weather and environmental conditions require camouflage of a different shade. What is suitable for hiding swamp or water birds, in conditions of dense undergrowth will only betray the hunter. Therefore, many either carry nets of different shades with them or construct the desired option simply on the spot.

The simplest camouflage net made of materials requires only a base under which any, even fishing, net will fit. It is advisable - not too heavy, especially if the camouflage is designed to disguise the hunter himself, because he will have to be carried on his shoulders. It is not suitable for creating a disguise of the fishing line - it stretches, tears and crashes into the body even through clothes. If you are hunting, for example, for duck, reed leaves are ideal for camouflage. They are cut off from the stem (they do not tear, because they cut hands easily) and are divided along the knife into long strips, which are attached with tape or thread to the cells. You can interleave them for credibility with dry grass. In a swamp or forest, reeds are replaced by moss, coniferous paws and lichen.

Reusable option

For those cases when the camouflage network will be used more or less stationary (for sheltering a car or equipment for a summer cottage), it is better to make it more reliable. That is, for body kit use camouflage fabric, which is quite easy to buy. It is cut into strips of six centimeters wide. Each on one side is cut with ribbons - they will be tied on a grid. Then, along the entire length, counter oblique incisions are made somewhere about two-thirds of the strip width, in a step equal to the same 6 cm. The ribbons are stretched, forming curly "pendants". It remains only to tie them and weave them between cells in a chaotic manner.

Braid options

In cases where special aesthetics are not required, since your camouflage network will be used in the field, camouflage fabric can be replaced with many improvised materials, which will be much cheaper. First of all, a plumbing tow, which is cut with uneven β€œtails” and tied in the same type as camouflage tapes. No less successful is the use of pharmacy bandages. Both require additional coloring to the tone of the surrounding area. This is usually done before braiding in order to spend less time and paint. Colors - a mixture of natural green and different shades of brown: get an excellent camouflage net! With your own hands, making it is as simple as in the previous version described above.
