Licenses for restoration must be obtained by enterprises that carry out design, preparatory, scientific-research, general construction and conservation types of work to restore or preserve a valuable object. At the same time, the enterprise receiving the license must strictly adhere to the requirements and conditions of the license.
Please note that restoration activities to restore objects of historical or cultural value without an appropriate license are considered illegal. The license is issued on an ongoing basis and does not expire.
Applicant Requirements
A restoration license is issued provided that the applicant complies with a number of mandatory requirements:
- Has the status of individual entrepreneur or legal entity.
- He has a specialist staff with experience in the field of culture and restoration.
- Complies with the requirements of the laws of the Russian Federation.
- It works in the manner prescribed by applicable law under the supervision of an experienced and qualified restorer.
In addition, the applicant must submit documents to the Ministry confirming the company's ability to carry out restoration work.
The application for a license is considered within 45 days. In some cases, the review period may be reduced to two weeks.
Together with documents giving the right to carry out restoration work, the applicant receives a list of recommendations and rules that are established by applicable law for this type of activity. If non-compliance with regulatory legal acts is noted, this may entail the revocation of the license, without which restoration activity is impossible. In addition, the license may be revoked if it is discovered that the documents submitted for consideration were false or contained inaccurate information.
