The situation in the country is such that the expression "treat yourself sweet" really became "pampering." An ordinary citizen does not like to spread something about a hundred rubles for a bar of chocolate. Yes, if in 2013 the Milky tile cost 55-60 rubles, and all kinds of dragees and sweets cost 35-40 rubles (for 57 grams), now Milka chocolate costs 100 gram - 85-90 rubles, impermissible luxury. To please the granddaughter with a chocolate bar, grandmothers will have a hard time.

Chocolate Composition

If before, when preservatives have not yet been used to prepare products, only cocoa, sugar and milk were present in chocolate, now you can eat this if you yourself decide to cook it at home. The taste, of course, will be significantly different, and a lot of money will be spent. It’s good if all the products are spent for good reason, and yet you will get a wonderful chocolate work. And if not, and not really chocolate will come out?

chocolate milka composition

Milka, whose tile composition includes sugar and cocoa, also consists of:

- whole milk powder;

- dry whey ;

- skimmed milk powder;

- milk fat.

The composition also contains cocoa butter, various fillings (nuts, caramel, strawberries), which are flavored with glycerin, emulsifier, citric acid and / or flavorings, depending on what type of chocolate you want to buy.

Do not be afraid, because you consume all these “charms” every day, buying any other product - sausages, yoghurts, mayonnaise, ketchup, crackers, other bars, chips, etc. In small quantities, these substances are mostly safe go out of the body without harming it. And Milka is chocolate, which needs them so that this product does not deteriorate in a short time, since exports take place over large territories. Naturally, it also makes it cheaper and easier to make sweets.

Are you afraid

If all this worries and worries you, then switch to subsistence farming, engage in gardening, animal husbandry and eat the right, healthy food. Accustomed to being prepared and brought on a saucer (only pay money), you should not scold manufacturers for those elements that allow you to save perishable products for longer. It is worth scolding the Ministry of Health that it does not work on monitoring food additives, does not analyze their harmfulness, does not impose strict restrictions and heavy fines for their violations.

History

The Milka brand appeared a little later than the chocolate itself. The year 1826 was marked by the fact that the Swiss company Philippe Souchard invented an apparatus for mixing cocoa powder with sugar. This device is still used.

In those years, a product such as chocolate was a delicacy only for people with high incomes, so developing a “business” was not easy. It was necessary to please the "fat wallets", and such an incident presented itself just in difficult times. The royal court of Prussia made an order with Phillip for the high masters, and they were impressed by the taste of his products. This was followed by popularity abroad, victories at international exhibitions, the opening of its own factory abroad, occupying about 50% of the chocolate market in Switzerland.

In 1901, the first bar of milk chocolate called Milka was released. Chocolate got its name (according to the first theory) from a combination of two words - “Milk” and “Kakao” (that's how “cocoa” is written in Swedish), and as a result, “Milka” came out. The second version tells us that the inventor Sushard was a big fan of the Croatian singer Milka Ternina.

What is noteworthy for this brand is the color scheme for packaging. Philip Shupard noted that purple is not characteristic of other manufacturers, and this made it possible to distinguish its brand from the rest. And so it happened. This is valid now, since the purple packaging is very noticeable among black, yellow, blue, white and red.

Whose production is it now?

In the seventies of the last century, the Milka brand (chocolate) merged with Toblerone, also Swiss chocolate. This association gave birth to the new company Interfood.

In 1982, Toblerone merged with Jacobs Coffee, resulting in Jacobs Suchard.

1990 - the year of transition under the wing of the American corporation Kraft Foods Inc.

In 2012, Kraft Foods Inc. divided into two parts, and now the Milka brand is owned by Mondelez International Inc.

It is interesting that the production of the now American brand takes place at local facilities. So, for example, the first production of this chocolate in Russia occurred at a confectionery factory in the Vladimir region (the city of Pokrov). It’s clear that no alpine milk will reach here, but rather they will only use the original technology. Some of the ingredients are most likely domestic, because those who claim excessive sweetness, some kind of sugaryness and specificity of taste should understand its true origin, and also take into account that, nevertheless, most chocolate consumers find this chocolate (maybe not everyone, but some of its species) really, really like.

Now Milka is chocolate, which, as before, is in the average price range and delights its consumer with a delicate sweet taste. If you are a fan of exceptionally dark chocolate, then do not try to judge Milka, because it is a completely different chocolate product that has its fans.
