Each country in the world has its own curfew in the summer, after which underage children can no longer freely walk around the city without parents. In today's article, we will explain why it is necessary, and from what age you can forget about this strict ban.
Curfews in summer are most often called forbidden time. It exists in order to protect the inhabitants of a certain city and reduce the crime rate and the number of victims. Usually curfews must obey, first of all, minor children who (for their own safety) do not have the right to appear on the streets of the city after a specified time. However, curfews can also apply to the general population, that is, adults, if the situation requires it. Typically, such situations are the introduction of a
state of emergency and wartime, when it becomes very dangerous to be on the street at night. Compliance with curfew rules is monitored by special police units and military patrols that bypass the city during the day and night. If we talk about Russia, the curfew in the summer comes at 23:00 Moscow time, and in the winter - at 22:00. After this time, if the police notice a teenager on the street, his parents will face a fairly large fine for not enforcing the existing law.
However, not all citizens of the Russian Federation know about the curfew law, many do not even have an idea of what this is specifically about. That is why very often minor children (adolescents) become victims of all kinds of crimes, robberies and violence. The law of the Russian Federation “On measures to prevent neglect and juvenile delinquency” was officially adopted and published in all newspapers on May 20, 2008. According to him, children under 7 years of age are strictly forbidden to be on the street in the dark without unaccompanied parents. This is especially true for places such as clubs, sports and beer bars, as well as other entertainment venues. Children under 14 years old are allowed to stay on the street without adults until 22:00 Moscow time.
What is it that turns out? If the child is 13.5 years old, he is obliged to observe a curfew. From the age of 14 - walk where and when you want ?! After the aforementioned law was published, many parents began to write to
law enforcement agencies (and on forums) that 14 years is absolutely not the age at which a child can already walk around the streets with might and main. However, no amendments to this law have been made.
