Before you spend your advertising budget on printing brochures, even if you are offered to do this at a reduced price, decide on the target audience of your message and develop a marketing offer. Only if you are 100% sure that your consumer or a person who is interested in your services will receive a finished printing product in their hands, can you start preparing an advertising booklet.
In order for your creative idea to make sense, you should initially understand what constitutes brochure printing.
The brochure itself is a small print edition that holds from 4 to 96 pages of a format no larger than A4. The most common example is a standard A4 sheet, doubled in width. Thus, the result is 4 pages for printing your information.
But if everything was so limited, then printing brochures would not be so popular.
Printing Options

- Digital printing of a brochure is rarely used in advertising communication, since it implies a small number of copies. In this way, using a laser printer, you can print several black and white or color (depending on technology) copies. On the other hand, if you, for example, are preparing materials for a business presentation, then digital printing will allow you to get several copies of a very high quality brochure.
- Offset printing is the most common way of preparing advertising printing, because it allows you to optimally combine quality and price. In this case, professional offset machines are used. With their help, you quickly get a large circulation. It is important to remember that printing brochures, leaflets in this way is justified only if you need at least 500 copies, since with an increase in circulation the cost of one copy decreases, and vice versa.
- Printing a brochure on a risograph can be a good solution only in the case of a black and white layout. In this case, you actually get a photocopy of the layout with all its characteristics, but much faster and cheaper. Using this method, it is worth remembering that when risograph printing graphic images can lose their quality due to poor transmission of hues and gradients.
If you want to get a multi-page brochure, you should also choose the method of attachment: to the bracket, to the spiral or to hot melt adhesive.
- Hot glue brochures are rarely used in advertising, since such a fastener pulls the least, but the loss of advertising space.More often in this way reference materials or full-fledged multi-page information booklets are made.
- Bracketing pages of a brochure is the most popular way for advertising printing. At the same time, the reader can fully expand the page, and for you this means an increase in the area for the message. However, the layout of a brochure with such an attachment should contain a multiple of four pages.
- The latest fashion trend in advertising printing has become spiral brochures. A plastic or metal spiral not only helps to fasten a large number of pages, but can also serve as an additional element that attracts attention.
