In the summer, when many office workers are on vacation, bright colors are in great demand. In salons, all shades of pink, yellow, green, turquoise and raspberry are in great demand. Before a long trip to the resort or simply to the sea, most fashionistas try to put shellac on their hands and feet. The color palette, as a rule, is selected for a bathing suit or just taking into account the wardrobe. However, pastel tones are practically not used during the holiday seasons.

As for spring and autumn, here, on the contrary, women who are forced to abide by the dress code apply a jacket or simply dim shades. Those who work without restrictions in the choice of clothes, cosmetics and accessories often use red or dark shades of shellac. The palette on nails sometimes differs from the color of the bottle (this is due to their opacity). So the shade should be chosen, given this feature.

Technology

Hypothetically, shellac can be applied independently at home. The only nuance that needs to be taken into account is the high cost of all the necessary materials and lamps, with which the coating dries. The fact is that shellac becomes hard only under the influence of ultraviolet light. And this means that you can’t do without a special lamp. As a rule, it pays off pretty quickly, due to the high cost of the coating in the cabin. But this is far from all expenses. It is necessary to purchase a base, as well as a top coat, which makes the manicure durable and also resistant to damage. Well, of course, you need a few shades of shellac. His palette is constantly changing, new fashionable colors appear. However, their cost does not always make it possible to buy new products for use at home. After all, the bottle is designed for a fairly large number of coatings, which is quite acceptable for the salon and not very beneficial for personal use.

As for the technology itself, then everything is quite simple and logical. To begin with, the nails should be degreased with nail polish remover, and wipe dry with a napkin. Then they are applied the base and dried with a lamp for 2 minutes (each hand separately). As a rule, there is a special timer for this. The next 2 layers are the shellac color coating (the palette allows you to select one or more shades). Each must be dried in the same way as the base. The manicure completes the finish layer, which must be applied to the entire plate, as well as to the end of the nail, to seal the color. Then the hands again go under the lamp. The final touch - with the help of nail polish remover and wipes, the adhesive layer is washed off. Then you can apply cream on your hands, and oil on the cuticle area.

The disadvantages of shellac coverage

The color palette of this coating during its appearance on the market was rather meager. Therefore, a special choice, unfortunately, did not exist. Manufacturers of gel polishes have long fixed this drawback, so you can purchase almost any shade. Of the minuses, perhaps, there were difficulties associated with removing the coating (for this, usually a finger with cotton wool moistened with a special liquid is wrapped in foil, which is not very useful for the skin), as well as the fact that monotony bothers many. Whoever has fast growing nails, there is still a problem with the need to frequently change the coating. Otherwise, those who use this tool are satisfied with it.
