Learn how to draw a rose on nails

Floral motifs are always a very popular topic for creating a beautiful manicure. Masters of nail service can depict absolutely any composition of poppies, daisies, sakura, peonies and so on. But most often, ladies prefer roses. Therefore, we suggest you learn how to draw a rose on your nails yourself.

Necessary tools

The list of what you may need to get a beautiful rose on your nails:

• base and top protective coating;
• varnish for the background (preferably without sparkles and glitter);
• varnishes for roses (for example, red, pink, white and so on);
• green varnish for leaflets;
• thin brush;
• a toothpick or needle;
• dots (a special tool that can be replaced with a match).

Since the rose on the nails may not work the first time, stock up on nail polish remover and cotton pads.

Preparation of the nail plate

Before you draw a rose on the nail, you need to prepare them in stages:

1. Make a manicure (cut them, file, remove the cuticle).
2. Degrease and polish the nail plate.
3. Apply a base coat to align the nail and protect it from varnish.
4. Apply a basic varnish.
5. Thanks to this, not only the drawing will last a long time, but also the look of your pens will be much more beautiful.

Circle rose

For work, you need to take a toothpick, a needle or a very thin brush. For the background, use white or black varnish, and for a flower, anyone will do.

1. Prepare the nail plate and cover it with varnish for the background.
2. With a nail polish draw an even circle. This can be done with a thin brush or dots. The larger the circle, the more convenient it will be to draw a rose.
3. Wait for the varnish to dry.
4. Take a small brush, a toothpick or a needle and start drawing a circle with thin lines, as in the diagram above. As a result, you get a pattern that looks like a rose.

At the end, cover the nails with a top coat.

We draw with a thin brush or needle

Instructions on how to make a very delicate rose on the nails:

1. Prepare the nail plate and cover it with a layer of varnish (Figure 1).
2. Put red and green varnish on a piece of paper or a small lid (Figure 2).
3. Draw a small letter “C” in the center of the nail with a thin brush or needle (Figure 3).
4. Draw another arc (Figure 4).
5. Gradually fill the nail space with arches. They should go in a spiral (Figures 5-8).
6. Take a little green varnish on the tip of the needle or brush and draw two stripes - leaflets of a rose (illustrations 9 and 10).
7. Rose is ready! It remains to cover the nail with a top coating.

We draw vintage flowers

If you want to create a romantic look, then a manicure in a vintage style will help you in this.

Master class on how to draw a rose on a nail (see the process photo below):

1. Prepare the nail plate and apply the base topcoat.
2. Coat your nails with the base color. To keep a romantic look and a vintage spirit, choose shades such as light blue, white, light beige and light pink.
3. Wait for the varnish to dry completely.
4. Take a regular brush and dip it in pink polish.
5. Place a circle with uneven edges on the nail plate (picture 1). You can just make a couple of strokes with a thin brush.
6. Wait for the specks to dry.
7. Take a thin brush and dip it in a bright pink varnish.
8. Draw an arc along the edge of the circle (picture 2).
9. Put another arc opposite the first (picture 3).
10. Draw a small strip between the two arcs (picture 4).
11. Decorate the rest of the nails in this way (picture 5).
12. Optionally, you can supplement the flowers with green leaves.

Vintage pattern is ready!

Lush rose

If you spend a little more time, you can create a very beautiful lush flower. To do this, you need to take two shades of varnish and a small but wide brush.

We look at how the rose on the nails is done step by step:

1. First, prepare a place for creativity: shape with your fingernail and cover the plate with background varnish.
2. Draw a large circle on the nail with a brush or dots.
3. Put a drop of varnish of a different shade on the paper.
4. Without waiting for the circle to dry, dip a brush with a rectangular end into the drop and draw an arc along the upper edge of the circle (Figure 1). Let the brush touch the varnish on the round. Thus, the arc will have a gradient effect.
5. Dip the brush again into the varnish and draw two lines to the right and left of the upper arc, which taper downwards (Figure 2).
6. Below, draw two more lines similar to the previous ones (Figure 3).
7. Draw a wavy line that will complete the circle (Figure 4).
8. Make a wide arc under the first, and put two or three strokes on it (Figure 5).
9. Draw a similar arc even lower so that you get a circle (Figure 6).
10. Under the last arc draw “antennae”, the ends of which are raised up (Figure 7).
11. Under the previous arcs, make two brush strokes (Figure 8).

The flower is ready! Try to draw a rose quickly until the varnish on the circle is dry. In this technique, it is very important that there is a gradient effect. But this can be achieved in another way: put a drop of one shade, and under it - the second, then brush with two colors at once.

Thus, you can draw a bud. It consists of two arcs: one at the top, the other at the bottom (see the illustration above).
