The front and rear legs must enter into special mounts for shoes, which are located on the board. The front of the board, which is under your socks, is called the “front side”, while the back is called the “back side”. Now you should master the technique of deepening the front edge and the ability to firmly balance. All day you need to devote to the development of this technique. In this case, you need to use the following control methods: jump and turn the snowboard 180 degrees, moving on the snowboard using jumps first in the "front side", and then with the "back side".

Listed below are the basic rules that will help you avoid mistakes and better understand how to learn how to ride a snowboard. So:
- If the board began to move with great acceleration, in no case should you squat on your hind leg, since in this case the speed will only increase. Here you should bring your hands to the side, twisting the torso, as a result of which the speed will decrease to a complete stop.
- If you have already gained quite a lot of speed, do not try to fall and stop this way, because there are a lot of dangerous obstacles on the track that you might just not notice (stumps, trees, stones, and so on).
- The board must not be allowed to touch the slope with the edge opposite to the one you are standing on, otherwise you will somersault and burrow in the snow.
On the third day, you should already become a confident fan of snowboarding, who will be able to independently and without falls to overcome the entire track for snowboarders. However, for this you should once again carefully repeat all the exercises that you mastered in the previous two days. This day can be called "artistic harsh snow" when you first feel the real flight and experience a great feeling of hovering over a snowy slope.
