Arthur Sergeevich Sarkisov is an Armenian footballer who currently holds the position of striker in the Volga football club in Nizhny Novgorod, and is also a member of the national team of Armenia.
Childhood, youth and the beginning of an athlete's career
At age 12, Arthur Sarkisov began to play football. Many believe that you need to practice this sport from early childhood if you want to achieve great success. But this is an erroneous opinion. And Arthur Sarkisov is a clear example of the fact that if you want, then you can do football in your teens. Training was held at a football school called Strogino. Once at a friendly match, which was held with the Reutov team, the athlete managed to write a hat-trick on his account. After that, the leaders of the Moscow Region club made a favorable offer to the football player to sign a contract. And he, of course, agreed. The first season was remembered for a long time. On a professional level, the football player held 29 meetings in which he scored three goals. For a long time, Arthur Sarkisov played for this team. But in the 2008th year, “Reutov” had major financing problems, because of which it was disbanded. Then Arthur Sarkisov moved to another team - Lokomotiv-2. For two seasons, he was the team's top scorer. Moreover, at the end of 2010, the professional football league named him the best striker of the “West” zone. The footballer became her top scorer, sending 21 goals to the opponent’s goal.
Football growth
The stunning game of the striker in Lokomotiv-2 did not go unnoticed. The leaders of the first team turned their attention to the sports talent of the player. In the 2010th year, on December 9th, the athlete signed a contract with Lokomotiv. It was not long-term - for a year and a half. And under the leadership of the new head coach of the football club, which was Yuri Krasnozhan (who also holds the post of head coach of the football team of Kazakhstan), Arthur Sarkisov held only one training camp. He passed in Turkey. But in March, the footballer extended the contract to three years, after which he was safely rented by the Shinnik club. He played his first match in the same team with the Yaroslavl team against Khimki on April 4. Then he replaced Eldar Nizamutdinov in the 64th minute. And on April 25th he opened his scorer account. This happened in a match held with “Alania”. Arthur Sarkisov, a football player with a fairly significant past at that time, played one goal for his team in the 48th minute. Thanks to this, the meeting ended with a score of 2: 2. The footballer showed himself very well and at the end of the season he became the second scorer of the Shinnik club. In the 2012th year, on July 23rd, Arthur Sarkisov began playing for all Nizhny Novgorod “Volga”, in which he chose the 14th number. In 2013, on June 18, he signed a contract with Ural, the team of Yekaterinburg, for three years. And just recently, on February 11, 2014, he returned to the Volga.
Armenia national team
In the 2011th year, on July 27th, Arthur was summoned to a training camp, which was conducted by the national team of Armenia. It was preparation for a friendly match, which was to be held with Lithuania. Two weeks later, on August 10, Arthur spent his debut match, leaving the starting lineup of the Armenian team. But in the 58th minute he was replaced by Yura Movsisyan. On September 6th, in the game for the national team, Arthur scored his first goal. This happened during a match with Slovakia. Incidentally, it should be noted that this was a significant meeting. The Armenians showed themselves well on the road and won at home against Slovakia, scoring four goals against the host rivals! And in the 2012th year, on September 7th, in a guest match held against Malta, Sarkisov sent the only ball into the opponent’s goal (in the 70th minute). With this goal, the score was opened not only for the team, but also for the whole match as a whole, since it ended so - 1-0 in favor of the Armenian team. It is worth noting an interesting fact that became known in February: the Armenian team rose to the thirtieth, record place in the FIFA rating without matches and a coach.
Return to the Volga
The footballer claims that he received various offers from other clubs, but from which ones, he is silent. The choice was made in favor of the Volga, despite the fact that invitations came from other countries. Arthur wanted to stay in Russia. Regarding the changes that have happened in the club, the footballer notes that new players have arrived. “At the moment, it is absolutely clear at what course the team is heading and what kind of football the headquarters of the coaches profess”, - these conclusions were made by the striker.
