What is the essence
Rollback allows you to return the operating system to a previously created recovery point. We can say that the meaning of the word "rollback" is system recovery. By the principle of action, it is similar to creating a save in the game, to which you can return if something went wrong. It should be understood that this is a return to a previously saved point, so all recently installed drivers and programs will be deleted. But this is far from always bad news, since the most common cause of computer brakes is precisely programs.
But if there are files to recover, then they should be stored somewhere. And they can be stored on one of the disks, where space is specially reserved for them. If the rollback function is disabled, you must definitely enable it. The algorithm is as follows: open the properties of the computer with the right mouse button: "Properties" - "System Protection", then select the disk from the proposed ones and click "Create". Possible causes of problems
Before doing recovery, you should understand the causes of malfunctions in programs, since, besides it, there may be other methods of solving the problem. Returning to the checkpoint should be used if it is not possible to fix the problem in other ways. The most common causes of problems are:

- Blocking by antivirus. The anti-virus program can block and delete files important for work, considering them malicious.

Rollback a computer system
There are several ways to restore the OS.
1. Via the Start menu. Open "Start" - "All Programs" - "Standard" - "Utilities" - "System Restore". A window appears that shows the date the recovery point was created. When you select a recovery point, the “Search for affected programs” button appears. By clicking on it, you can see what will be deleted after recovery. Then click "Next" and you're done.
2. In safe mode. Before loading Windows, press F8, and then select "Safe Mode". Next, roll back the computer system through the "Start". This method is good if there are problems with the OS, and it does not load or displays a blue "death screen".
3. From the boot disk. You can restore the system from the Windows boot disk . We insert the disk into the drive, press F12 and select the disk drive from the list for initial startup, if it is not by default. The installer window opens, where there are 2 buttons: “Install” and “Restore the system”. Click on the last one and wait for the end of the process.
