DIY textured plaster - how to do it?

It is better to plaster a wall together. It is recommended to treat the entire surface at a time. You need to start from the corner, each reception is designed for one to two square meters. While one person applies a layer of plaster with a trowel or putty knife (approximately 3 mm), the second one forms the decor with the help of textured rollers or other devices. The edges of the plot are best left uneven so that the joint is not noticeable.

Fifteen to twenty minutes later, when the plaster dries out a bit, the sharp edges of the relief are slightly compared with an iron grater. After one to two days, the surface is treated with sandpaper to remove pieces of plaster that do not hold well.

You can paint the surface only after complete drying. A wide range of colorants makes it possible to create a unique design. The wall can be painted in two colors, and you can also create an antique effect with sandpaper.

At the end of the work, cover the surface with protective wax, which will increase the strength and allow you to wash the wall with detergents.
