Work begins with an inventory of the boards and slats available on the farm. - edged board 2.5 cm thick and 10 cm wide;
- beam 50x50 mm;
- sandpaper;
- self-tapping screws 5 cm long.
First, a detailed drawing of the bench is performed. Its width is 45 cm and its height is 40 cm. The length is done at the discretion of the master, but usually it is at least 1.20 meters.
The right amount of bars and boards is cut to size using a hacksaw. At least 5 supports are made: one in the middle and 2 from each side. Parts are processed with sandpaper. If you want to make the back curly, then you need a jigsaw. Markings are made on the supports, and cut on them. In order to avoid bulges and deflections, the supports should be identical.
Now it remains to collect all the details using self-tapping screws. Wooden parts are treated with sandpaper, and then with an antiseptic or paint. It is very comfortable to relax on such a beautiful bench that is comfortable, and even a novice master is able to make it.
