How is a tourist ship arranged?
There are no observation windows on the lower deck (in the hold) - there are portholes here that never open, as they are located close to the waterline, but all rooms have air conditioning. Cabins here have the lowest cost.
Above is the main (1st) deck. On it at the beginning of the hall is located Reception (administrator), where they register new arrivals and give them room keys.
When entering the city, it is necessary to hand over the keys to employees for Reception, since it is precisely with them that passengers who do not return on time will be tracked.
There is also a medical center and titanium with hot water on the main deck.
On the middle (second) deck, located above, aft there is a restaurant and ironing room, on the bow - a bar.
Then comes the boat (3rd) deck, which also has a bar (in the bow) and a disco bar (in the stern). If passengers do not like noise, they should not take a cabin on this deck or choose one that is closer to the bow of the ship.
The uppermost is the sunny (4th) deck. Here there are no cabins, but there is a conference room and a solarium with sunbeds and a shower.
The lower the cabin, the lower the price for it.
On the 2nd and 3rd decks, vacationers will constantly walk in front of the windows. Sailors can sometimes work on the main deck. All this must be taken into account when choosing a cabin.
What is in the cabins?
In all passenger rooms, St. Petersburg (motor ship) offers: shower, bathroom, air conditioning, wardrobe, radio, observation window (or porthole), standard power outlet.
Junior Suite 3-seater | 2 double bed, armchair bed, magazine. table, pouf, DVD-TV, refrigerator, 2 windows. |
Junior Suite Double | The same as in the 3-seater junior suite, but there are 2 armchairs instead of an armchair-bed with an ottoman. |
Single | 1 bed |
2-seater | 2 beds. On the 2nd and 3rd deck - a larger room, there is a mirror-dressing table. |
3-seater | 3 beds (two downstairs and one, folding, upstairs), 2 portholes. It can be ordered in a 2-seater single-tier accommodation (at the price of a 2-seater single-tier cabin). |
Motor cabins are much smaller than any hotel rooms. Even on the most fashionable airliners, an ordinary cabin is very similar to a large luxury compartment in a sleeper train.
This is understandable - there is always little space on ships, and they save it to the maximum. But this is done so imperceptibly that travelers do not feel cramped in any way - there is a place for sunbathing on the boat, a spacious disco bar, cozy relaxation areas with sofas and greenery.
The lower the cabin, the lower the price for it.
It should also be noted that mostly in cabins, passengers sleep only at night, and they spend most of their vacation having fun in music salons and bars or walking on decks and enjoying the wonderful views that open in front of them.
