In France of the 16th century there was one very sweet wedding custom: a small box with sweets was presented to guests in honor of the celebration and in gratitude. In those days, chocolate came to Europe from India and was a rarity. Of course, now you will not surprise anyone with sweets, but the tradition remains. Moreover, in Russia, too, began to give bonbonnieres. DIY templates are easy to make. And do not be scared that there are a lot of boxes to be done.
Let's start with the simplest solution: a straightforward little bag, the top of which is decorated with a dahlia. We will need colored papyrus paper, cardboard, contrasting ribbons, scissors and a pencil. Fold two sheets of paper four times, so that a square is obtained, draw future petals on it with a dotted line and cut it out.
Next, we need to make our bonbonnieres sustainable. DIY patterns in the form of a circle with a diameter of about 4 centimeters are cut out of cardboard. Then we wrap it with the same paper and place it in the center of the prepared papyrus. Now you can fold the candies and wrap. The ends are staggered, twisted and fixed with threads. At the base we tie a ribbon and fluff our flower. Everything, we did the wedding bonbonnieres with our own hands !
For the next option, prepare A4 colored double-sided cardboard, pencil, scissors, toothpicks, glue stick, adhesive tape, and tapes. First of all, we draw the sun on a sheet: the diameter of the circle is 7 centimeters, the length of the rays is 8 centimeters, the base of the triangle is 1 centimeter.
When you cut this figure, you get a blank for the bonbonniere. Do-it-yourself templates are not at all difficult to make, even if you do not have a special artistic talent. Next, we apply the finished form to the cardboard, circle and cut. After that it is necessary to bend up strips. Inside the resulting design, we add sweets, collect the rays together and fix them with tape. We tie a bow over the duct tape. If you own Photoshop, at least at a basic level, you can make small flags with the names of guests, wishes or thanks. Fix it on a toothpick and stick it in the center of the makeshift box.
Bonbonnieres for a wedding in the form of a piece of cake look no less original. Prepare colored cardboard or thick paper, as well as a white sheet. In addition, you will need a pencil, a ruler, glue. First you need to draw a template, the image of which is shown in the photo. The sides of the rectangle are 12.2 and 5.7 centimeters. The base of the triangle is 6.8 centimeters. The height of the mounts is 2 centimeters. The back wall of the cake is 3.6 cm. The element with a round hole: width 2.6, height 1.7 centimeters. After the drawing is ready, it must be cut and folded.
Now we proceed to decorate the bonbonniere. DIY patterns you can decorate with ribbons, lace, various applications and more. If you make a lot of such “pieces”, you can get a very nice cake in several tiers. I wish you creative success, a bright wedding, a strong and happy marriage!
