A do-it-yourself frame made of paper, wood, polystyrene, cardboard, gypsum or plastic will be much more beautiful and original than a factory product. You can buy an inexpensive base and turn it into a real masterpiece by decorating with beads, shells, textiles, buttons or rhinestones.
The simplest frame with your own hands is made of foam. Each house has packaging from household appliances of various shapes. It is we who we will use for this purpose. Foam packaging is containers with sides of different heights. If you carefully cut this container a few centimeters from the top, we get a ready-made basis for the frame. She is very light.
Decorating the frame, you can use the technique of carving or beadwork. Having a large supply of colorful beads in the house, put them into business. It is possible to fix the beads on the surface of the foam in two ways: using glue or a thin wire. Polyfoam is well pierced. Cut the pieces of wire of the required length. After that, we make slices on each side at an angle of 45 degrees and collect the frame. To do this, glue the corner joints on the back side. Putty frame on all sides. Let the product dry, then paint it in the desired color. We fix the photo with small carnations or needles stuck on the back of the frame.
If the frame is large, then you need to make a substrate. For this, a piece of thick cardboard is cut to which a loop is attached. A picture or photo is superimposed on it. Top is covered with a decorative frame. Parts are connected using small studs on the wrong side. None of your guests will even think that the silver or bronze frame that frames the beautiful picture on the wall is made of paper waste.
