Biography
D. A. Chugunov was educated at a teacher training college, specializing in psychology. In 2005, Russian public figure Dmitry Alexandrovich Chugunov became the commissar of the Nashi movement. In the same year, he took part in a meeting with President Vladimir Putin, which was held at the Zavidovo residence.
Since 2006, Dmitry Alexandrovich joined the Nashi movement and became the head of the Our Army direction in Ivanovo. From 2006 to 2008, he served in the military and was in the special forces “Typhoon” and “Vityaz” of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation. As part of the OCH, he went on a business trip to Dagestan as a sniper.
In the period from 2008 to 2010, Dmitry Alexandrovich served as a platoon instructor in contract service. In 2009-2010, he was a teacher at the Central Organ No. 1861. In 2013, he studied at the Moscow City Psychological and Pedagogical University.
Social work
Since 2005, Dmitry Chugunov has been the commissioner of the Nashi movement. He received a specialty "social educator", being a graduate of Moscow State Pedagogical University. He managed to win the victory in the framework of the competition of leaders of children's and youth public associations under the name "Leader of the 21st Century."
In 2009, Dmitry Alexandrovich in the city of Odintsovo was the head of the department of the "Local" movement. Since 2010, he has been the author and manager of the Reserve program. It is aimed at educating the defenders of the fatherland, as well as training a high-quality personnel reserve specifically for the Ministry of Emergencies, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Defense.
Since 2010, Dmitry Alexandrovich has been the leader and participant in the StopHam federal project. In 2012, he became the host of the television program City Wars, which aired on the TVC channel. The project lasted 1 season, it was closed due to a change of leadership. In 2013, Dmitry Alexandrovich entered a new wave of the Nashi movement.
He joined the commissioners, speaking out against visiting the congress of Vasily Yakemenko. The latter is the founder of the movement. In the period 2014 - 2017, Dmitry was in the fifth chamber of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation. He also took the post of First Deputy Chairman of the Commission on PMCs and Public Security.
In October 30, 2014, after the appeal of an initiative group of citizens, Chugunov went to the demolition site of a cooperative located on Dmitrovskoye Shosse. A conflict began with unknown people in the form of the Federal Security Service. As a result of the incident, a public figure received serious injuries and was hospitalized.
In 2016, it became known that Chugunov, together with Eric Kituashvili, organized the People movement. The project was created on the basis of StopHama and the street racing association Smotra. Subsequently, a criminal case was opened against Eric Kituashvili. Smotra leader accused of participating in organized crime groups and insurance fraud.
The true motives and reasons for the creation of the public movement "People" are not clear. The fact is that Smotra is a street racing project, and StopHam opposes violations on the roads and contradicts the main ideology of street racing. In addition, the latter are prohibited by law enforcement agencies of Russia because of the potential danger of fatal accidents and other accidents.

Dmitry Alexandrovich Chugunov in 2011 married a girl named Anastasia. A year later, the couple had a son, Stepan.

Dmitry Alexandrovich Chugunov is a bronze medalist at the Championship of the Internal Troops for shooting from a sniper rifle. Competitions were held in 2008.
