To save a certain amount of money on installation, you need to know how to assemble blinds with your own hands.

It is from this stage that the collection of blinds should begin, since the comfort of using the installed design depends on it. The first step is to determine the parameters of the opening. On paper you need to record the height, and then the width of the opening. You should be extremely careful, since it is simple to reduce too long blinds, but you can not add the missing parameters. The length of the lamellas is selected at personal discretion: they can be up to the windowsill or to the floor. After installation, the standard parameters can be adjusted using a special mechanism.
Fixation
To learn how to properly assemble the blinds, you need to prepare all the necessary tools in advance. The main tasks are performed by a drill and a drill. - For installation, only the warm season is suitable. In winter, there is a lot of condensation on the window.
- The frame needs to be thoroughly washed and also dried to the area on which the canvas will be fixed. For reliability, you can use a solvent.
- Place the installation of the cartridge mark with a pencil or marker. The strip must be parallel to the floor. Otherwise, you may encounter a strong skew design.
- The adhesive tape used must be separated from the protective film in order to stick the product according to the marked markings.
- It remains only to fully assemble the horizontal blinds.
Assembly
The future appearance of the product depends on this stage. The most popular models can be found in the hardware store according to the photo. You can assemble the blinds yourself if you follow the attached scheme. The lamels are placed on a rope ladder at the same distance from each other. The canvases are fixed to the cornice by means of the sliders. Below all lamellas are connected by a chain. The control cord passes through the lifting mechanism, which is located inside the cornice. The master needs to make sure that all the runners move in the ledge without much effort.
Traditional installation
To assemble roller blinds efficiently, it is enough to adhere to the standard scheme. The procedure is as follows:
- Mounts on the cornice are mounted so that they do not interfere with the internal moving parts.
- Measure the structure on the frame. The product must be set so that the lamellas freely enter the window frame from both sides.
- With a pencil, it should be noted those areas where the latches should be located. During this procedure, it is necessary to keep the cornice as even as possible. For these purposes, it is better to use a special level.
- Despite the fact that the plastic itself is quite soft, it is better to pre-drill all the necessary holes. The diameter of the drill should be less than self-tapping screws.
- At this point, the wizard should lock the brackets.
- It is necessary to insert the blinds into the cornice, pushing until a characteristic click.
- All ends are closed with plugs, which are implemented in the kit.
Many may be frightened by the fact that you need to drill several holes in the frame itself, but there is nothing dangerous about it. If something went wrong, then the unnecessary notch can be filled with sealant.
Care
It is not so difficult to assemble the blinds according to the instructions, if you follow all the recommendations. In order for the installed products to serve more than one year, you need to properly care for them.
Experts recommend sticking to the following recommendations:
- Vacuum the blinds gently to remove any accumulated dust.
- Close the structure as tightly as possible so that during the scheduled procedures you do not accidentally splatter the window.
- In a small container, you need to prepare a soap solution (add a little ordinary detergent to the water).
- Using a sponge, process each bar. After a few minutes, all grease and dirty deposits should disappear.
- Each bar must be kept on the reverse side, otherwise characteristic breaks will appear on them.
