Medal "95 years of the communications forces"
Communication troops are no less important type of troops than any other, you can even call them one of the main, since without good communication it is impossible to ensure the success of the battle. The medal "95 years of the communications troops" was established on December 9, 2013. This event is timed to the 95th anniversary of the Communications Forces. All members of the constituent commission unanimously voted for such a medal in our country.
Timely information received from signalmen means a lot - it can prevent the death of a large number of people and the loss of military equipment. This is a commemorative anniversary medal, and it does not give the right to any benefits to its owner.
The medal “95 years of the communications troops” is to be awarded to military personnel, as well as to veterans and civilians belonging to the service personnel who serve or have served in the communications troops. It is also awarded to teachers of educational institutions conducting their pedagogical activities on the profile of communications troops. And also to persons who are not military personnel, but who actively contribute to solving problems within the competence of these troops, take any actions in the interests of the communications troops and actively participate in the life of public organizations for veterans.
The following persons are entitled to award the medal “95 years to the communications troops”: the chairman of the Commission on medals, the commander of a military unit, the leaders of veteran societies and the heads of organizations.
Appearance of the medal
The medal "95 years of the communications troops" round shape. A warrior-signalman is depicted on its front side, the inscription “95 years” is stamped on the right side of it, and the inscription “Communication troops” is inscribed in the upper part of the coin (above the warrior’s head). On the reverse side (in its upper part) the emblem of the communications troops is depicted, and under the emblem (in the center of the medal) the text is engraved: "Without communication, there is no control, without control there is no Victory." Under this text are the memorable years 1919-2014. The medal has an eyelet, with the help of which it is attached to the block, which is covered with white fabric with yellow stripes at the edges and with two black stripes in the middle. The back of the pad has a clip for attaching a medal to clothing.
Medal "95 years of military intelligence"
The medal "95 years of military intelligence" is a commemorative anniversary medal of silver metal. It also does not provide its owner with any additional rights or benefits. It was established for the anniversary of this kind of troops, since intelligence is also a very important military unit, without which it is impossible to win a victory in hostilities. On the front side are two scouts in an ambush forest and with PPSh in their hands. The inscription “Military Intelligence” is inscribed in the upper part of the medal, and “95 years” is stamped in the lower part. On the back there is a bat against the background of the globe, over which the inscription: “Without the right to glory, in the name of the state” is embossed. This commemorative medal is awarded to servicemen of reconnaissance battalions, as well as to war veterans who served in reconnaissance battalions.
Medal to all involved in intelligence
The medal "95 years of reconnaissance" is made of silver metal, round in shape. On the obverse is a blue globe in the center of which is a bat. Almost on the same level as
the globe, a red flower is depicted. The inscription “Military Intelligence” is engraved in the upper part of the medal, and “95 years” is engraved in the lower part, near which the ears are depicted. On the reverse side there are inscriptions: "REGISTRUPR", "DISCONTINUED", "GRU", "General Staff". In the upper part, the memorable years 1918 - 2013 are indicated. In the lower part are ears of corn and a small star. This medal is a jubilee and is awarded to everyone related to military intelligence. It does not provide the right to any benefits to its holder.
