But years have passed, old age has come, it's time to take stock ... But the results are not encouraging: there were diseases, no money was saved up, sometimes there wasn’t even an apartment, the children grew up, and the person was left alone. A whole mountain of problems, and it seems that neither you nor your problems are needed or interesting to anyone.

In 1994, the Law on Veterans was issued. According to Article 7, persons who are awarded the honorary title of Hero of the Soviet Union or the Russian Federation, who are awarded orders, medals, labor distinctions and have sufficient work experience, are awarded the title “Veteran of Labor”. How to get this honorable status?
The bodies that issue this certificate impose certain requirements on applicants who must have any of the list of orders, medals and honorary titles.
