Mount Narodnaya is the highest peak of the Ural Range. In general, it is no different from the rest of the mountain ranges. These are all the same cars filled with blocks of ice and snow, inaccessible winding slopes with powerful stone boulders and small icy mountain lakes.
On its slope there are many cup-shaped depressions, glaciers and even snowflakes. Among the grandiose and powerful hills of the Urals, it is Mount Narodnaya that stands out. Its height reaches 1895 m, at its foot flows the river "People", it is thanks to this rivulet that the mountain got its name.
History
In 1927, an expeditionary team led by Aleshkov first appeared at the foot of the Naroda River and, as a result of a study of the terrain by geologists, discovered a number of peaks that were many times higher in height than the mountain elevations already known in the Urals. In the course of scientific research, geologists managed to establish the highest peak of the Urals, and Mountain Peoples was recognized by it.
Although before that this honorary title was worn by Mount Saber, 1,497 m high, then this title was transferred to Mount Telpos (1,617 m). A little later, Mount Manarage (1660 m) received the palm. Subsequently, discussions were held for a long time about the highest elevation, only later after careful research, scientists still managed to accurately measure both mountain ranges and draw conclusions. Today, the obvious supremacy is Mount Narodnaya. Coordinates: the peak is located on the territory of the National Reserve, on the border of Europe and Asia.

Ural Mountains very popular among tourists. This place has become a cult for travelers. According to custom, everyone who reached the mountain should leave notes with their

Perhaps this is due to the worship cross established in 1998 , on which the words “Save and save” are written. No one can give an explanation, but only one thing is clear, that, being on the slope of the peak, as if you are charging with positive energy, you are cleansed of the negative and absorb all the power of the virgin nature.
Mount Narodnaya is a truly unique creation that fascinates with beauty, power and height. Getting to it is not easy, but it is possible along the northern or western slope. In winter, the climate here is heavy and cold with frosty winds and lingering blizzards - the average temperature is about -19C.
Hiking is best done in the summer months, at this time of the year the temperature here is about + 12C - weather conditions allow you to safely reach your destination. Compounding the path are stone ledges, blocks and ice carts with lakes. The relief is mountainous with steep cliffs and deep gorges, so you need to climb it very carefully.
Climbing equipment is absolutely optional, the main thing is to follow the exact route and listen to the accompanying guide. But what you can’t do without is without an SUV. Before entering the territory, it is necessary to obtain the appropriate permission from the administration of the YugydVa nature reserve. The road to the ridge takes 5-7 days.
On a hill, tourists set up tents and light a fire to keep warm on cold nights. Mount Narodnaya conquers newly arrived tourists with a white carpet, clean air and crystal lakes - this is one of the best natural creations.
