- plug with two wires with a diameter of 0.5 mm;
- electrical tape or other insulation;
- scissors;
- needle.
If this is your first experience, two containers will be enough, in the future you can collect the device from a larger number of "eggs". Before starting work, make sure that children and animals will not interfere with the process. In each container, make a hole with a needle, twisting it slightly so that the diameter is sufficient to pass the wire. Dissolve the wires in one conductor and pass them so that in one container there are positive, and in the other - negative charges. DIY car air ionizer
Making an ionizer for a car is a little more complicated than a home one. Therefore, you need to be confident in your abilities and abilities when embarking on this process. A relatively simple and proven circuit of an air ionizer is assembled using a generator on a 555 chip, which is also called a timer. Such a part costs 15-20 rubles, and you can find it in any store of radio components. In the circuit, it plays the role of a single-channel generator, the operating frequency of which is adjusted by selecting the components of the RC chain. In order not to buy a transformer, you can take any power supply, for example, the remaining from the old system unit. From there, the transformer should be carefully soldered, to facilitate the operation of the ferrite, you can heat it with a lighter and then separate the halves with a needle. They should not crumble or break. Feel free to throw out the old winding - you need to rewind a new one. The primary contains 14 turns, which must be wrapped in 2-3 layers of insulation, clerical tape is suitable. The secondary winding consists of 600 revolutions, and through each hundred insulation must be installed. Now the timer is connected to the transformer, in accordance with the scheme, a voltage multiplier assembled from capacitors and diodes KTs106 is connected. It remains to push the wiring from the multiplier to a distance of 2-3 cm from each other - and can be included in the network. If the experiment is successful, a characteristic smell of ozone will appear in the air.
Possible disadvantages of the device
Of course, a bipolar air ionizer has a lot of positive characteristics: it improves air, cleans it of unpleasant odors and harmful impurities of gases, dust, bacteria, germs and allergens. But he also creates a fairly powerful electromagnetic field, which affects the human body. Until now, scientists have not decided yet and are conducting research, trying to understand whether such radiation brings more harm or more benefit. A large amount of ozone in the air is harmful, which is released in the form of positively charged ions along with useful negatively charged ones.
