Tales of Plyackovsky for kids.

It is unlikely that there will be a person who has never heard such lines: “it’s better to sing along in chorus”, “friendship begins with a smile”. The little raccoon from the Soviet cartoon and the cat Leopold sing songs to the verses of the popular songwriter Mikhail Spartakovich Plyatskovsky.

In contrast to songs, fewer people hear Plyackovsky’s tales: they are short, their plot is straightforward, and their language is simple. However, this is their advantage, because they are written for children of preschool and primary school age.

Tales and Early Development

Although the name of Plyatskovsky is not as well known to the common man as Chukovsky or Nosov, his works are in service with early development methodologists: short, with simple plots, they are understandable and interesting for children from 2 years old.

Many tales of Plyackovsky build the plot in such a way that the author’s statement involuntarily causes surprise, a question. The text in a very compressed volume includes intrigue, which forces children to use the heuristic method. If you pause while reading, this will enable the child to independently solve the puzzles of the writer. Thus, simple reading will turn into a game that is fascinating and useful for the development of intelligence.

Very interestingly writes M. Plyackovsky. Tales make you think about the meaning of unusual words, developing linguistic thinking. For example, a seal received the name Tulestya because of its exorbitant laziness, and the slow-witted lion cub took the letter "I" in the names of animals for the pronoun, having fallen into a comic situation.

Animals and guys

Tales of Plyackovsky teach children rules and norms of behavior, model familiar situations and introduce them to the world. Some stories not only teach kindness, but also make fun of the bad character traits inherent in children. The grimy duckling, for example, became invisible to friends - they stopped talking to him.

The heroes of the stories are animals, and mostly cubs.

There are two collections of this author, united by common heroes: “Daisies in January” and “Sunny for memory”.

The language of fairy tales is unpretentious, but children do not need lengthy reasoning, for which they cannot keep up. It is important that each word carries a deep meaning, and the general concept is to glorify peace and kindness.

The tales of Plyackovsky are similar in form and impact on the reader with the adventures of the Hedgehog and Teddy Bear Sergei Kozlov.

Mikhail Plyatskovsky. Tale of an Inverted Turtle

This tale from the collection “Daisies in January” tells of the misfortune that happened with the tortoise of Mnespeshnethere. Plyackovsky gives the names of all his heroes meaning: in this case, the name reflects the slowness of the hero, and the name of the dog Dog Bull from another fairy tale is the product of a game with a word.

And although the Cold North Wind turned out to be the cause of a big disaster, about which the author warns readers in advance (“Then no one knew what all this would lead to”), he also allowed true friendship to manifest.

Plyackovsky builds the text on anticipation, omissions, leaving details for later. When reading, one often wants to ask the questions “how” and “why”: how could this happen? Why could no one help the turtle in trouble? Such a plot construction makes the fairy tale lively, interesting and easily holds attention.

To date, there are many editions of Plyatskovsky's fairy tales, but the best ones are those illustrated by the works of Suteev, the famous Soviet storyteller and animator.
