After that, the scanner reads the addresses and distributes letters to the desired cells. It happens very quickly. About 12 letters pass in one second. If the address is recorded with errors, then it will return to the operators. They manually drive the index from the images of letters. Working here requires good experience and quick response.
What happens to the packages
They are distributed on several streaming lines:
- Boxes and bundles that are sent abroad.
- Large, heavy and oversized loads.
- Ordinary parcels.
As you proceed along the tape, the parcels automatically fall into compartments that correspond to the post office of the city or region to which they must be delivered.
