There are no particular difficulties here: you only need a table, a net, two rackets and a ball. Given the fragility of table tennis balls, it is advisable to have several substitutes. The game takes place on a rectangular table, the height of which from the floor is 76 centimeters.
The table has a playing surface, always made in dark color, with a white side line and including the upper edges of the table. The material of the playing field can be different, it is only important that when the ball falls from a height of 30 cm, the rebound should be at least 23 cm. The game table is divided into two halves with a grid that is suspended on a cord with vertical posts, 15.25 cm high.
You need to play table tennis with special balls. A tennis ball weighs 2.7 g and has a diameter of 40 mm. It is made of celluloid or plastic similar in characteristics, and its color is most often white, but you can use the orange or matte color of the ball.
Critical to the game is the racket. It is not only flat in table tennis, but also tough. Its size, weight and shape are not regulated. In the manufacture of racquets used natural wood, pimply rubber.
