Childhood
A tennis player was born in the small Slovak city of Piestany on October 4, 1988. Magdalena was born in the simplest family. A year later, the young tennis player was able to bring the first point in the Federation Cup, thereby helping her native team to get a ticket to the Second group, beating the Vietnamese rivals.
At the age of 18, a young tennis player reached the final stage of youthful Wimbledon. In the final part of the tournament, the Slovakian lost to the first first racket of the world, the Danish Caroline Wozniacki in three sets.
At the age of 20, the young tennis player continued to perform at ITF tournaments, having won two minor tournaments at the beginning of the season. In the same season, the Slovakian overcame the qualifications of Roland Garros, reaching the second round. At US OPEN, a promising athlete made it to the third round, and by the end of the season for the first time reached the semifinals in the tournament version of the WTA. By the end of the year, the Slovak tennis player reached the first hundred of the world ranking, taking 58th place.
In the summer of 2009, the Slovak tennis player was able to win the first title in adult tennis. At a tournament in Birmingham, Magdalena defeated Chinese tennis player Li Na in two games in the final. It was the first and last victory of Magdalena in grass tournaments.
