The only basic requirement that must be followed is safety.
Preparation for work
The first step towards making a treehouse with your own hands will be the selection of a suitable support. In this case, this is the trunk, and therefore the choice of a tree is one of the most important tasks that the builder faces. It’s worth saying right away that plantations like birch, poplar, willow or chestnut are not suitable. The reason is a too weak barrel, unable to support the weight of the structure. The best choice would be oak, spruce, maple, beech or fir. The trunks of such trees are quite solid and durable, capable of supporting the weight of a person and a small house.

Once it became clear which trees are suitable and which are not, it is important to consider a few more details. For the construction of a treehouse, not every oak or maple is suitable. Firstly, the support should be large enough. Secondly, the tree should have a large number of branches, which will indicate the presence of a powerful and developed root system.
