There is no need to say that it is rare in which country house, cottage or summer house there is no bathhouse. It is very convenient and, most importantly, good for health. And what is a bath without hot water? The main element in the equipment of such a room is a stainless steel bath tank. The use of stainless steel is due to some advantages:
- steel does not corrode, therefore, the water in the tank will be clean, rust will not form. Welds are made by argon welding;
- stainless steel is not exposed to the harmful effects of elevated temperature and high humidity in the room during prolonged use.
Usually, a stainless steel bath tank is made of such steel grades - 08X17, 12X18H10. They have increased heat resistance and high resistance to deformation under the influence of high temperature.
There are several types of tanks, depending on the method of heating the liquid:
- water is heated by the stove;
- heating it with a heater built into the tank.
For uniform heating of water in the tank and long-term preservation of high temperature, it matters what thickness of the metal the stainless steel bath tank has. When the liquid is heated by the furnace, the thickness of the metal is taken more than when heated using ten. This is explained by the effect on the boiler of a higher temperature. However, an increase in the thickness of the metal affects the mass of the tank, and hence its value.
The size of the stainless steel tank depends on how many people will be steamed at the same time and on the method of heating the water. Up to 50 liters capacity is enough for one person.
The industry produces tanks that are mounted on the chimney from the furnace. The remaining chimney is installed on the tank. Smoke passing through a pipe heats its walls, which transfer their heat to water. Water is poured through the top hole in the tank, the drain is carried out through the drain fitting. Hinged tanks are also available, which are attached directly to the wall of the furnace and are heated with it. In this case, the crane is located uncomfortably at the very bottom.
To heat the room for several hours in baths or saunas, electric heaters are used. In this case, there is no need to stock up firewood. Everything will be done by sauna heaters. Shadows heat the stones that they lay on them.
The sauna heater is usually made in a rectangular shape, with a heating ten inside. Its main purpose is to create hot, dry air in the steam room. On the furnace body, blinds are made on three sides to improve heat transfer. The amount of stones depends on how quickly the steam room warms up. If there are a lot of stones, warming up will take longer, but the steam will turn out more “soft and lush”.
Recently, cast iron stoves have become widespread. They are more durable and resistant to environmental influences.
A cast-iron stove for a bath has some advantages over other heating devices:
- easy installation indoors;
- she does not need facing, which saves both time and money;
- It is easy to transfer to any place.
A small cast iron stove can heat a large area. In addition, it has versatility - it heats both water and the steam room itself. The material is high-quality heat-resistant cast iron. A feature of such furnaces is the regulation of the furnace process. Up to eight hours, a slow combustion process in a metal furnace can occur.
