There are many interesting people in the world. Someone can reveal their talent, someone not. Mikhail Zhvanetsky is a unique person who, even during his lifetime, became a legend of humor in almost all Russian-speaking countries. His quotes are as thin and sharp as a needle. But at the same time, they are so close and understandable to everyone.
Childhood
On the sixth of March 1934 the long-awaited joy came to the family of Odessa doctors, surgeon Emanuil Moiseevich and dentist Raisa Yakovlevna - a boy was born to the couple.
Zhvanetsky Mikhail Mikhailovich spent most of his childhood in Tomashpol, Vinnytsia region. In 1944, the family returned to their native Odessa.
After graduating from the local 118th school, Mikhail Zhvanetsky enters the Odessa Institute. In 1956, the port of "South Palmyra" receives a valuable employee - "engineer - equipment mechanic." During this period of his life, Mikhail Zhvanetsky honed his oratory at port cranes.
And in his free time he took part in the work of the Odessa Student Theater Parnas.
Abrupt change
The cars were not the most grateful listeners, and the satirist often recalled his student performances on stage, which invariably caused sincere laughter from the audience.
As Mikhail Zhvanetsky knew, in 1963 he needed to get to know Arkady Raikin, who was on tour in Odessa. The meeting grew into a stormy collaboration. Already in 1964, the port suddenly felt sad - Zhvanetsky set sail for a long interesting raid with the Raikin Theater.
That just did not come up with two masters for joint years of work. Soon there was not a single performance in which Mikhail Zhvanetsky would not have taken an active part. The quotes were “sorted” like hot cakes, they “went out to the people”.
Partners of the satirist are Roman Kartsev, Victor Ilchenko. More than three hundred completed monologues were prepared by Mikhail Zhvanetsky.
Career
The comedian could not stay long in the shade. Soon, he began to give independent full-fledged concerts in his native Odessa, Moscow, and St. Petersburg. The crowds were eager for performances. Cash desks had huge lines. Tickets sold out instantly.
1988 is one of the key years in the life of a satirist. During this period, the Moscow Theater of Miniatures was created, the artistic director of which was Mikhail Manevich.

Of course, television could not help but call into its ranks the master of pop music. He has a role in the film.
And in 2002, the satirist became the host of the comedy show "Country Officer", which had consistently high ratings.
In addition to television, Mikhail tries himself in writing. The greatest work was published in 2001 under the title Collected Works.

Awards
Of course, Michael's activities could not go unnoticed. At various times, a huge number of awards were received. Among them are the most important and memorable.
In 1994, Zhvanetsky received an honorary award. "Triumph". Also this year he was awarded the Order of Friendship of Peoples.
In 1999, for his amazing achievements, he received the honorary award "People's Artist of Ukraine".
In 2012, given the huge popularity, he received a similar title from Russian officials.

Personal life
