This document has been waiting for a very long time for a huge army (about 1 million) of people in uniform, its release is the final stage of the ongoing reform of the Ministry of Internal Affairs system in the Russian Federation. What social guarantees does he consider for police officers, how much will the policeman earn each month, is it realistic for the officer to purchase new housing, and how will his pension increase? Let me briefly introduce you to the main aspects of the social life of defenders.
First of all, it is worth noting that this is the first Law building a new model in the social aspect of the existence of police officers. It is the first act of a social nature elevated to the rank of Federal Law.
Social guarantees of police officers: on the monetary allowance of employees
The money allowance system is completely changing, which is being taken to a whole new level. The salary of an employee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs consists of the official salary and the salary laid by the assigned rank. If earlier the list of additional payments consisted of 40 points, now they have been able to combine them into 8. Namely, the social guarantees of the police are expressed, including in the following additional payments:
- The monetary allowance for seniority is accrued monthly, the size varies depending on the length of service and is equal to 10-40% of the salary amount.
- Monetary bonus for qualification title (5-30% of the amount of official salary).
- Cash bonus for special conditions in the service - 100% of the amount of official salary.
- The premium accrued for work with data classified as a state secret. The size depends on the secrecy of the data and amounts to 65% of the amount of the official salary.
- Bonus payments are calculated on the basis of three annual salaries.
- Extra charges accrued for performing especially dangerous tasks involving risks to life and health, as well as for achievements of an employee during military service in peacetime (up to 100% of the amount of official salary).
- Area coefficients (service in the Far North, deserts and highlands, etc.).
If you shift this to a monetary designation, then the lieutenant’s salary today is approximately 33 thousand rubles, add to it additional charges, it turns out about 45 thousand rubles. with the most crude and general calculations.
Social Security for Police Officers: Improving Housing
And here there are several solutions to the problem:
- lump sum payment for direct purchase or construction of own housing;
- alternative option: housing construction at the expense of budgetary funds (appropriations), as a result, the employee is offered the purchase of housing in the property or living under the terms of social rent ;
Since the beginning of the 12th year, subsidies have been introduced for the purchase of housing by police officers who have served in the police department for ten years or more. It is also noteworthy that the social protection of the precinct workers, based on the provision of housing in the area entrusted to them, is maintained and enhanced.
Social guarantees of police officers related to increased danger of service in bodies
The New Law provides for a set of measures in the event of the death of an employee or personal injury during service, which entailed a disability, including.
So, for example, the children of the deceased employees receive the pre-emptive right to enter the best educational institutions of the Russian Federation, the family of the deceased policeman receives up to 10 salaries at a time in a new calculation for each family member in case of an insured event. If an employee died while serving, this amount is 3 million rubles.
