It is worth considering what exactly it is. At the moment, military duty is defined as the duty of a citizen to serve in the ranks of special military structures. The circle of entities that are military
It is quite important to determine who constitutes the category of military service. To date, this issue is fully regulated by law. Moreover, it is important that it has a federal character - that is, it is used equally throughout the country. Local authorities do not have the right to independently modify or supplement such standards in any way.
People liable for military service are citizens who meet the following criteria:
are males, correspond to the age prescribed by law, and are specially registered (fixed-term service);
persons who are in the military reserve (liable for military reserves).

Persons in military reserve

Who is not subject to accounting
There is a category of people who cannot belong to those who should perform military service. This group consists of:
categories of persons that are expressly provided for in the Law on Military Duty and Military Service, such as those who are exempted from military service;
persons who undergo military service or an alternative service;
prisoners;
women who do not have military specialties;
Persons who permanently live abroad.
This circle of subjects is not included in military records.
Draftee age

Deferral from military service

if the man is a single father;

That is, people who fall into such a list are not included in the category of "military liable." This is a special group that is entitled to deferment. But this does not mean that this category of persons is completely exempted from military service.
Exemption from draft
The age of those liable for military service is not the only criterion by which one can get rid of the need to serve. The reasons for release include:
unsuitable due to health status;
previously undergone military training in the army;
undergoes such training at the time of the call;
previously a member of the alternative service;
is a member of an alternative service;
served in a military state in another state.
