Baranets Viktor Nikolaevich today is a very significant military columnist in Russia. He was born in Kharkov region in 1946. Today he is a war journalist, writer and publicist, retired colonel. In 1965, he became a cadet of a tank regiment. So his fate was closely connected with the Armed forces.
After the military school, Baranets Viktor Nikolaevich received the specialty “military journalist” at the academy. He was called up to the Far East. Before 2012, Viktor Nikolaevich Baranets strongly criticized President Putin’s policies. The reason is the failure to implement the program to provide dismissed military housing and cash allowances. When Putin drew a “direct line” in 2011, Baranets asked a question about this. The president praised the journalist for his courage.
Since 2012, Baranets has become a trusted Putin. In the election campaign of Vladimir Vladimirovich, he stood by his side, helped in the debate, published campaign materials and newspaper articles.

Baranets Viktor Nikolaevich does not show a photo of his family. But it is reliably known that he is married. He has a son, Denis. Viktor Nikolayevich has a grandson who was born in 1999. Today he, together with his matter, lives abroad, in France. He sings in a church choir.
