He has long been known in England, in Germany, in Austria and in the Scandinavian countries. It is consumed in Christmas markets, in ski resorts and at home, sitting by the fireplace. And this drink is mulled wine. If cooked correctly, it will be an excellent remedy for colds and depression. It is prepared on the basis of wine: red or white. Peel is removed from one orange, and juice is squeezed from both. This juice is poured into a bucket. Sugar, spices and zest are added to it. Then this mixture is put on a small fire, and cooked until all the sugar has dissolved, and two thirds of the juice will remain. After that, the wine is poured in and all this is boiled over low heat. The drink should not boil. Mulled wine is bottled in glasses made of heat-resistant glass or in ceramic mugs.
Everyone knows that raspberries are an excellent remedy for colds. And mulled wine from white wine and these berries will protect against acute respiratory infections with even greater force. To make this โhot wineโ you will need half a liter of dry white, freshly frozen raspberries weighing 200 grams, sugar - two tablespoons and one vanilla bean or a bag of vanilla sugar. And the cooking procedure is this: the wine is poured into a saucepan, raspberries and sugar are added. The vanilla pod is cut and the middle is scraped into wine. The pod itself is also cut into pieces and sent after. The whole mixture is heated on low heat almost to the boiling point. The finished drink is bottled and drunk immediately after preparation.
