Necessary fire safety measures

Both design and construction of any objects with their further operation implies compliance with some required standards. In some cases, special measures must be taken to ensure fire safety. We will talk about this in more detail.

Fire safety measures

If we are talking about any enterprise, then there simply must be a person who will be responsible for fire safety. It should, for example, ensure the normal functioning of equipment such as fire alarms and automatic fire extinguishing systems. Also, his immediate duty is to periodically conduct fire training.

The enterprise must have developed an evacuation plan. These are only the most basic measures to ensure fire safety at the plant.

As for the issue of designing fire systems in an enterprise, real professionals should deal with it. Moreover, the finished project is mandatory checked by special services.

Fire system design

Now we are transported to a simple rural house, which is located at a considerable distance from the gas mains. And since these highways are not nearby, the local resident is simply forced to use a gas bottle. It has its own special fire safety measures .

This cylinder must be located in a specialized iron box. It is highly desirable that such a box is on the street. Under this condition, one can hope for a quick weathering of the gas in the event of its possible leakage.

It is also worth noting some prohibitions regarding the use of gas cylinders:

Fire Alarm Devices
- You can’t arbitrarily change cylinders - neither disconnect old ones, nor connect new ones. It is worth noting that now the workers of gas services when delivering such equipment independently change it and put a special seal.

- In no case should you store either empty or filled gas cylinders in the house, in the production room, or in the basement.

- A cylinder with a total volume of more than 55 liters or two cylinders with a volume of 26 liters is not allowed to be in the same room.

In general, all the main fire safety measures do not end there. What are you talking about? It all depends on what kind of object is meant. For example, as mentioned above, if the owner of the production premises does not receive special permission from the fire services, then such an object will simply not be put into operation. An ordinary house does not require this scrupulousness. Although even the same services can come here at any time and check fire safety. In case of non-compliance of the premises with any parameters (absence of detectors, for example), the owner of the house will be fined. After all, whatever one may say, but sensible security is necessary, first of all, for people.
