Baked meat in the oven, not only with potatoes, but also with rice. According to the following recipe, the meat is no less tasty.

2) Meat with rice in the oven. It should be noted that the meat for this dish can be very different, it can be chicken (we will consider this option), pork, rabbit meat, beef, lamb, and even fish. Some religious people substitute meat with mushrooms, which results in a lean dish.

So, for cooking, we need 800 grams of chicken meat fillet, 400 grams of rice, 300 grams of hard cheese (suitable Dutch, snack, poshekhonsky or any other), a couple of cloves of garlic, salt, herbs if desired. Rice pre-cook until half cooked in salt water. Boil chicken too until half-cooked. Lay food on layers in a baking sheet. The first layer is rice, the second is chicken (previously diced). Put chopped garlic over the meat and salt. Then lay out the remaining rice. Pour a little chicken stock (so that the bottom does not stick). Then put grated cheese and finely chopped greens on top. Bake in the oven for 1.5 hours at a temperature of 200 ° C.

3) Meat and mushrooms go well. In the winter, of course, it is difficult to find them, so the easiest way to buy mushrooms. The next recipe is meat with mushrooms in the oven.

For cooking, we need the following ingredients: 600 grams of pork pulp, 200 grams of fresh champignons (if there are no fresh, canned can be used), 3 ripe tomatoes, hard cheese (which melts well and does not burn), salt and greens. Cut the pork into slices (about the size of two matchboxes), beat off with a special hammer on both sides (so that the meat is baked) and grate with salt. Grind mushrooms, fry in oil until half-cooked and put on meat. If you have canned mushrooms, you don’t need to fry them. Cut the tomatoes into rings and lay on top of the mushrooms. Then sprinkle the resulting slides with cheese, put in a preheated oven for 40 minutes (at 190 ° C). Sprinkle hot slides with herbs.
