The future comedian saw the light in September 1945 in Baku. From early childhood he liked to sit out for hours with a book in his hands in his father's library. In 1962, Yevgeny Vaganovich, for the first time as a professional entertainer, conducted the VTMEI program, entitled “It happens that you are 18 years old in life”. It lasted several years. During this time, the artist learned a lot and created a good repertoire. After completing the VTMEI program cycle, Petrosyan went into "free swimming". From 1964 to 1969 he worked in the orchestra of Leonid Utesov himself. Then he worked for twenty years in the Moskontsert, first as a leading entertainer, then as a performer of monologues. In 1985 he became the Honored Artist of the USSR Evgeny Petrosyan. The biography of the artist is rich not only in a variety of humorous programs. He is the author of eight books, a comedian, actor, satirist, parodist, director of all his recitals. For half a century of pop activity, the artist managed to participate in almost all possible humorous contests, stage performances on most venues in the country.
